Phone essentially worthless
From the beginning, the Go Flip 3 that I bought from seller TechRay had problems with the transmission of my voice to the person at the other end of the call. I could hear them, but they couldn't hear me. Sometimes changing position would cause my voice to be heard. Often, no movement whatsoever would cause my voice to be heard. Occurred in my house and in the middle of large parking lots. And, at times (maybe 15-20% of the time) voice transmission both ways worked just fine. An intermittant problem, occurring most of the time. I have no idea what the technical cause of the problem is/was, but getting a new phone and using it under identical conditions proved to me that the problem was the phone and not the network or my environment. Unfortunately, being out of the U.S. for much of the time before I figured that out, the 30-day period for returns had long expired.Other observations: The phone does not have separate "Back" and "Directly Back to the Home Screen" keys, meaning that every time you burrow down 6 to 8 levels for this or that, you're going to have to retrace your steps back to the Home Screen by the same number of presses of the Back key. And, the programming, in many cases, seems to have created a greater number of steps to get to wherever you want to go than other cell phones I have used. And, I was unable to find any way to set up audible beeps to alert me of missed calls, voice mail messages, or incoming text messages. One has to remember, after having been absent from the phone for some time, to look for those miniscule icons on the Home Screen. And, the User Manual is generally pretty cryptic in its explanations, to the point of being totally worthless much of the time.

Very good flip phone for T-Mobile network
Alcatel Go Flip 3 4GB 512MB RAM 4052W-2AALUS3 US Version - Black from Besiyata DishmayaI wanted a simple phone that could make and receive phone calls without required locking the phone to a username and password like Androids and iPhones. It had to support 4G LTE, since all phone networks are ending support for phones without LTE.I received the Go Flip 3 4052Z phone which is the version sold by Metro by T-Mobile. The Metro by T-Mobile branding comes up on boot. According to the BananaHackers site: The name differs according to the telephone operator (4052R, 4052C, 4052W, 4052Z…) but they are practically always the same phone.WiFi calling can be configured as preferred, for better call quality from home. WiFi is 2.4GHz only. LTE bands 2/4/5/12/25/26/41/66/71. It covers all of T-Mobile's network, as well as Sprint bands that are likely to added to the T-Moble network. A headphone can be connected to a jack or paired via Bluetooth. The phone accepted my Red Pocket Mobile GSMT SIM. The display scrolls the network as Red Pocket. It is likely that any T-Mobile MVNO SIM will work in this phone. While some of the bands will also support ATT, I suggest that selecting another phone if you will not be using the US T-Mobile network.

Great phone for seniors with memory issues and limited tech skills
My mom finally is very happy. She said answer and close a call is easy, finally a phone without the locking buttons to push (optional) to make calls. She hasn't tech skills. The next thing will be to explain to her how to use the google assistance. Useful feature since she has memory issues. (Keep you posted about it)Cons: If the internet is connected, the battery runs out in about 6hrs and sometimes after using youtube or google assistance, I noticed the ph keep running the app. So I cleaned up but my mom will not remember how to do it :(Overall great phone for seniors, with internet, google assistant, whatsapp

Alcatel Go Flip 3 4GB 512MB RAM 4052W-2AALUS3 US Version - Black - doesn't work with sprint not new
The phone that seller is selling is not a 4052W. Though the box had a bar code sticker that stated 4052W, the model number on the box was 4052Z or 40527. When I opened the box, there was no manual. The front of the phone had a covering on the display but the corner was coming off. The back of the phone was off. Found the back of the phone along with the battery and charger in the bottom of the box. None of these items were wrapped, just laying there. You think I was suspicious. You bet!!!!There was a sim card already in the phone but there was no indication as to what network provider the sim card was on. Bottom line, the phone is being returned. If you buy from this vendor, you'll be very disappointed as I was.

Right phone but branded with AT&T logo
The product I received looked very similar to the photo description except that the phone has an AT&T logo on it instead of the Alcatel logo. As many in the reviews have stated, I also plan to use this phone with T-Mobile.Not knowing much about wireless broadband cross compatibility, I brought this up with product support and they offered to send me a new one. Will have to wait 7days for the replacement to arrive.Received the new phone and it also has AT&T logo. I went to sellers listing of the product and it states it’s an AT&T unlocked device. It should have be listed on this product page that it is an AT&T unlocked/branded device.Overall, works with T-Mobile sim.

google assist features eliminated
This is a follow up after 3 weeks. The google assist for voice to text, or calling have been dropped by goggleas of 2-3 months ago. This was not noted on the description and major features for our purchasing the phone. Will not pair to either of our cars and tech support from Alcatel was no help. This was a 3rd phone for emergencies to leave in the car. It did not include a simms card or micro sd which we had to buy to even use. Also was an AT &T phone, not unlocked but T mobile was able to get it to work. Very disappointed in the experience and time spent trying to use it and cost to set up. May return in the time frame allowed or keep it as it is for emergency. But it is a piece of junk
