Awesome sand paper well worth the money

Just what I needed for DIY lathe projects. I can choose a grit, cut a strip, return to sanding my workpiece, and make quick changes to finer grits. My first try on a hard wood sanded efficiently, dropping dust without clogging the grit, easy steps down to slick finish. I have not tried with metal, but the durability on wood makes me confident. I think this convenient assortment of emery cloth will find a permanent place on my workbench.

Good cloth but as others have pointed out this is a small hobby box… if you are a fabricator you might want to get bigger single grit boxes.

If you solder or braze, this product is an absolute necessity. Cleaning prior to soldering or brazing is always needed and this variety pack let's you choose what type emery cloth you need from fine to coarse. I can imagine using the different variety on any metal i work with from copper to brass to bronze to aluminum to steel and more.

Very handy pack. I used it to polish my ar10 barrel feed ramps and it worked like a charm. I glued small pieces of 320-600 grit strips to dremmel attachments and they worked well. This is NOT sand paper, it is emery paper. The former is for soft materials, like wood. The latter is for hard materials like steel. Very happy with my purchase.

As specified gritt , handy in one box

strips are only 1 inch wide. This was not clearly specified in the description. I expected 2 inch wide material.
