DeoxIT D5S-6 Spray, More Than A Contact Cleaner, 142g, Low-Med-High Valve, Pack of 1

got this based off recommendations from an amp forum. this was an invaluable product bringing a 68 bassman i inherited back to life. scratchy pots/switches -fixed. also helped clean up almost 60 years of scum/oxidation from the amp. totally worth it. if you're actually reading this, you're probably like me, not a pro, but good enough to do your own work. get it. far more effective than IPA alone. having qtips around helps with the process.

The best electronic cleaner and lubricant. I use it for my audio equipment. It is magic how well it works.

This stuff worked great. Note that it also contains a lubricant. This is good thing. I have about 60 potentiometers I had to clean. All of them weren't working properly. Now they are.

Bought this to clean/lube a camera zoom toggle and it worked perfectly! Cleaned the contacts well so that the zoom toggle now works flawlessly (Panasonic Lumix FZ300). It doesn't seem to have truly offensive odors, so that's a plus.

Overpriced but works well for maintaining old equipment volume controls.

Worked great and seems to have fixed my contact issue. Only complaint is the plastic tube is too small of a diameter and did not fit into the nozzle. I had to borrow a tube from a can of WD-40. In the photo below, you can see the inner diameter of the tube is much smaller on the left (tube that came with Deoxit) vs the tube on the right (from WD-40).

If it's good enough for electrical connections on aircraft - it will be more than fine for my auto adventures.

I've got 10 yr old fender mustang 3 amp, it is infamous for crackling volume knob, someone in a guitar forum advised using this spray. I shot some in the volume knob, turned it to 1-10 a few times, crackle is all gone! finally, after years of annoying crackle and smooth as silk knob. Side bonus=it doesn't have ANY odor of chemicals!
