Wasted wax at the bottom
The smell of these candles weren’t over powering which I liked however, there was about 1.5 inches of wax left and the wick wouldn’t light any longer so it was wasted. That is why I’m giving the product 3 stars. I won’t purchase again due to the price of the candle and wasted wax. I don’t think I got my money’s worth.

Scent is not like basil at all
I’d bought a different basil candle some years back and was reminiscing about the smell. It was a beautiful soy wax candle that smelled EXACTLY (and I mean exactly) like fresh basil. There was nothing artificial or overpowering about the smell, just like picking a freshly rubbed leaf and holding it to your nose.I bought this thinking it might be the same. It was NOT. This candle smells like perfume, not fresh leaves. It’s like a scented cleaning product that approximates something green but isn’t even close. I wouldn’t recommend this if you want a candle that smells natural and subdued.Luckily Amazon gave me my money back and I was able to give it away, but I wouldn’t buy these candles again.

Fine candle
After reading so many positive reviews I was so excited to try this but I wasn’t blown away. It’s a fine candle, the smell is very subtle and not over powering (strong scents give me headaches) so that’s good, but the scent to me is nothing special. Burns well, it’s just not for me!

Love the smell, but pretty expensive (I think) for the size you get.

Basil does smell nice, but the scent is very low scent but, for somePeople that might be a plus I personally would like a little more kick
