I LOVE 3d printing and scratch building my terrain and buildings but I dont have time anymore...this set was the most amazing thing I have ever found for D&D or other table tops! The setup was a bit of a learning curve so defiantly watch their build videos on their website it will help. But once its up, I was able to quickly throw a whole town on the table in front of my players. They had NO idea this sort of immersion was coming. In the photo I only have HALF of the set built and put on the table.I cant recommend enough that every DM should have this set and I plan to purchase the others ASAP. What a beautiful money saver and honestly completely immersive for me as a DM! I hid special loot and NPC/Enemies in the buildings (which every level lifts to play in!) and they were constantly surprised!

I love this fantasy village! If you are wanting a background setting for pictures, Tabletop skirmish games, or D&D games this village is definitely perfect. Also way more affordable and less time consuming than buying plastic terrain that you have to assemble and paint. This just requires assembly and looks great. Will buy more from Battle Systems!

Great terrain, I would pay a premium if it was printed on plastic cardstock of some sort.

First off the bad news, and really the only bad news. The instructions are a YouTube video of a very sweet guy mumbling and doing his best to tell you how to put things together really fast and not very well. The videos drove me nuts, have to pause and rewind "Did he just say maybe it goes here?" Who ever had the idea of doing a video instruction series should have to sleep on the couch for a month.Now the good stuff. It's a great deal for what you pay for. Serves its purpose and looks great on the table. It's a bit wonky because of the card board, you definitely want to glue stuff together. But in the end completely worth it to see your players interacting with the word and want to explore, makes it easy to kill them off when they separate the party. I felt I got my moneys worth and it is fun to play with. It's no dwarven forge, but I can't afford dwarven forge so this works fine. I will buy more of their stuff. I just wish they had better instructions.

It was great fun to put together and its bigher then i thought itd be which is great. All the peices are in sheets so if you dont like trying to figure out where things go this might not be for you.

Wargaming table, easy set up for river and road design, Horse and musket = Revolutionary War, French&Indian, 1812, Civil War, WW 1, WW2. basically 1/72nd scale, HO, 25mm . Makes nice addition to set pieces.

This is an amazing set! I'm including a few images just to give you a real feel. The main thing I would criticize is that parts of it took slightly longer to assemble than expected and the instructions are not included in the box. You must go to their website where they have assemble videos. However, the quality is great and all the extra scatter really spices up the landscape! Be sure to get a fat tipped brown or medium grey marker and trace around the outside of the cardboard punchouts (before you assemble the pieces). That is what will take them from clearly cardboard cutouts to looking like sculpted pieces of plastic. Overall, a fantastic value!

The reversible roads and rivers give me the customizability I need to really add that little something to the battle map! Absolutely love it!

The cardboard is thick enough that it doesn't warp. Cobblestone road effect is so-so, the river side is very good so will be adding some grass and reed tufts, matting down the river bank edges and using solely as river terrain. Good value, and probably worth getting two to add more flexibility.
