Fun and challenging
I received this book as a birthday gift because I’m a big fan of escape rooms. It was very fun to complete, and had some fun surprises. It’s also really nice that they have a forum online if you need a few hints along the way. I wasn’t familiar with a couple of the puzzle concepts so I wouldn’t have been able to figure them out without a hint. The majority of the puzzles are perfect though, and just challenging enough to be fun but not frustrating. It took me about 6-7 hours total to finish everything (using some hints), so it’s definitely worth the price.I will definitely be purchasing any new books they come out with, I hope they make more!

This was amazing!
My sister and I worked through Journal 29 and Revelation. This was a far better experience. We especially appreciated that the hints were helpful and the tone was supportive. While we struggled as usual with missing the obvious and also with a few puzzles where we knew what to do but struggled to make it work, we made it through. And the ending was amazing and totally unforeseen!

ERRORS in the book. ... But it has a great end
I'm on puzzle 8 now and there have been TWO errors so far:Puzzle 7: e/s is swappedPuzzle 8: Densities for milk and dish soap are swapped (1.035 and 1.06)Very disappointing. No QA on this?HOWEVER - I played through the book and thes rest is VERY good. The ending is well done. Thus I'm giving it four stars; if not for the mistakes this would have been one of the top books.

A Very Satisfying Experience!
Having completed Master Theorem, Dark Sails and both Journal 29s, this is now my fifth interactive puzzle book, and definitely my favorite so far! The puzzles may be considered easy for some, but I still found them very satisfying (the final one especially). The images are clear and comprehensible so there's not much in terms of visual distractions or red herrings. Like any abstract book, there's a bit of moon logic to decipher, but the message board clues are great for setting you on the right path. A strong recommendation for beginner and experienced puzzles alike!

Fun and not too difficult
This is a great puzzle book. It’s fun and challenging, but not impossible and the team hosts a great forum with hints and help.

Some well designed puzzles, but hint system is frustrating
I believe that all puzzle books of this kind should include solutions and, preferably, clear hints. After all, not all of us have the patience or desire to spend weeks stuck on a particular puzzle or, as books like this often require, tear pages. This book relies on a website that *checks* whether you have the right solution, but doesn't tell you what the solution is in case you're completely stuck. The website has a poorly organized section with hints that in most cases gets you really close to the solution, but not always. This said, this book does have some very clever puzzles so I still think it wasn't a waste of money. Some redesigning of the hint/solution system on the website or including the solutions with the book would be enough for me to rate it 4-5 stars.

Love it. Recommend. Bought for other puzzle solvers
I love this book. I'm typicality an overly confident puzzle solver, one who uses pen, but this is the first time I transitioned to pencil, gladly so.While there may not be an explicit answer key, there is a community of users, who receive hints.I personally was so stumped on a puzzle, I finally reached out to the authors. I received rapid support, with someone I could also joke with (that last part isn't important, but I'm just saying, I'd buy anything these authors have available). So far, I can describe each puzzle (after knowing the answer) as straight forward. Don't over think things.Best of luck!

An escape room in a book
This book was an astonishing adventure. I got it yesterday and had to restrain myself from working on it overnight and all day. I loved it.
