It can prevent shackles from crack, warp or corrode effectively.

Q: Do these have any 'flex' to them, as in being able to bend them just a little? Or are they a hardened rubber? I'm not using them on shackles.

They do have some bend to them. Not a lot but you can flex and twist them.

Q: What's the thickness of the washers?

Hi. The thickness of the washers including in this isolator kit is 4mm(0.16"). All of our isolators and washers are of the standard size of 3/4 D-Ring shackles. You can get it without worry.
