Product works as described. NOTE: The black jack is a 10-pin composite that plugs into the rear of a Genie DirecTV receiver/DVR.My only wish is that a S-video plug was included with the RYW plugs, but it's my best guess that the Genie unit does not have S-video capability in the 10-pin setup. (Our Genie does not have a separate S-video outlet.)

Perfect for connecting DirecTV box to older audio equipment.
Newer DitecTV boxes don't offer an RCA audio out, only a combined A/V Out jack. This converts the specialized audio out jack to RCA audio and Composite video.Yes, the normal HDMI output handles both to my TV display, but I also need the audio fed to a second amplifier. This fit the bill perfectly.
