No it has been 100% leak proof! Mine worked great for a while on my hydroflask. Then the lid broke in half and I can't get the broken part off my water bottle making my hydroflask unusable. Now I have to purchase new bottle... not super happy about that.

I just happened to have the wine hydro flask. I never thought to try. I immediately pulled it out tried it. It dies fit. Thank you for asking so now I know I can sip 25 oz of wine to my hearts content. :)

Yes, they messed up on this design. There is a little vent behind the spout. The first version allowed air to pass through. This new version is completely sealed. If u puncture it, you will sip fine, but it can leak if tipped over. The people who say to loosen the cap are just making air to pass through the lid. If they flip the bottle upside down, it will leak from the lid
