NOT FOR CHEWERS!!
Bought for my 1 year old Staffy, 30 minutes after delivery it was in bits! If your dogs a chewer don't bother buying!! I wish someone would make something that my dog can't chew up....more money wasted...back to the searching for something else! :-/

in fact they are the perfect size for our 14KG Lakeland Terrier
As our Lakeland Terrier was mourning the loss of his old doggy friend, we thought to treat him with a Kong Jumbler Football (Extra Large) as well as a Kong Jumbler Ball (Extra Large). Although they are Extra Large, in fact they are the perfect size for our 14KG Lakeland Terrier.Out of the two, his favourite is definitely the round Jumbler Ball, even though he managed to finish off the squeaky in about 1 hour, he loves it when I throw it like a bowling ball or when I lightly kick it down the path and he does the same, he actually pushes the ball forward with his head. Extra Large is the correct weight and size for him, he carries it around without any problems. As for the rubber itself, after several days of play and chew it is standing up to his destructive teeth. Normally a ball would last 30 minutes, but these ones are strongly made. When I compare the oval Football with the round Ball, I think that the squeaky is in a much better position in the oval Football. The squeaky is located within the handle, so our Lakie cannot get his teeth into it, and it is therefore still squeaking properly.Actually, coming to think of it, it's nice to have a silent ball and a noisy squeaky one, it has worked out very well, and it has helped a bit with trying to keep him occupied as he is still a bit depressed because he can't understand where his doggy friend has gone to.Yes I certainly would recommend both Jumblers, but for any dogs that are above 10KG I would definitely recommend the Extra Large balls, and I shall certainly purchase these again after they are worn out.I hope that they do give colour options in the future, because both our doggy balls are blue, and it would have been nice to have had different colours for him.

My dog now has a favorite toy
My dog is a Shar Pei Staffy cross, has powerful jaws and many toys end up in the bin within just a few hours. Not this one. It is very sturdy - surprising really as it is quite light. The shape is just like a rugby ball with handles at either end - all part of the rugby ball shape but giving something to grip. Inside the ball is a small round ball which helps the ball bounce even more erratically and provides a real challenge to the pup. She shakes the ball but cannot access the smaller one.The final point of interest is the squeak, this is cunningly hidden on the recess of one of the handles so is completely inaccessible to my dog's teeth. It does not squeak all the time and my pup finds it really exciting when it does squeak.Very happy with this purchase and looking at the waggy tail so is my best friend.UpdateI'm starting to look for new toys for the coming Christmas season. This means my dog has had this for 10 months. It is her favourite toy, she has just started to chew through one of the handles but not enough to make it unsafe - more chewed and distorted slightly than actually chewed through. She plays with it constantly and is still surprised by the squeak. I'm thinking of buying something similar but a different shape - it will have to be good to beat this though.

VERY squeaky. VERY squeaky INDEED!
If my dog were rating this Kong Jumbler I have no doubt he would give it 5* immediately. He considers himself to be something of a toy connoisseur and has a wide and varied range to choose from, but when the jumbler arrived the rest were forgotten for weeks, which isn't like him at all. I think the main attraction for my dog is the very, very loud squeak that this toy has. The jumbler became his constant companion (as did the squeak) and he didn't lose interest in the toy at all, not even a little bit, until he finally managed to desqueak it after weeks and weeks of trying. Even now, without the squeak, he'll still happily play with this toy, but it has lost favourite status since the demise of the squeak. Personally, I thought this larger size was just a little too big for quite a small Border Collie but the dog disagreed with me and thought it was perfect - I later bought him the smaller one and he didn't have the same interest in it at all, even thought the squeak sounded just as loud to me. I can't say that my dog ever noticed the tennis ball inside the jumbler, he certainly never tried to get it out. But he did absolutely love this toy and I would have no hesitation recommending the Jumbler for other dogs that are devoted to their toys too - so long as the owner can cope with the squeak, squeak, squeaky, squeak, squeak...

Supervised play only!
I have given the kong rugby ball 4 stars as our GSD appears to love playing with it, the squeaking emanating from the ball is driving my partner bonkers, another plus! After play we put it in a safe place and our dog 'asks' to play with it again by standing next to the dresser looking at it and giving one bark. This ball is suitable for SUPERVISED play ONLY, as it could be really dangerous for a dog if it was left alone with it, and the dog chewed it to bits...the small ball inside the main rugby ball could possibly get stuck in a dog's throat...in all honesty I would not buy another ball with this feature.
