I also have the Bluetooth Speaker, Ubetter® Audio Duo Portable Wireless Speaker,High-Definition Sound Quality for All Phones and Tablet (White) which is what I'm mainly comparing this one to.First of all the only thing that I didn't like on the other unit is the annoying connection voice. This unit has a much more pleasant tone to notify you that you are connected. Huge improvement.The speaker itself has pretty good sound and handles the low end well enough that it doesn't sound distorted, but the richness of the low end isn't quite there for a speaker this size.In all reality, you're going to use this on your desk or nightstand and rich low ends aren't necessary in those applications. I'm only taking off a half star for that.This is an all in one speaker that has Bluetooth of course, but also- Clock with alarm function- Line in- SD card slot (not included)- FM radio with station display on front (nice function for emergencies)Once you connect to the Bluetooth, you can't manually change it back to the clock. It has to time out somehow to display the clock, but I can't figure out how long it takes or exactly how to make it.I've already recorded the video where it shows it timing out and going back to the clock and still being able to play music through the Bluetooth. Right now as I'm typing this I'm listening to the music (at least 10 minutes now) and it still displays "bLUE" and hasn't went back to the clock. If I try to click MODE to go through all the other modes back to clock, it disconnects me from Bluetooth.The instructions that come with it aren't much help with helping me figure this out.I did receive this product at a discount in exchange for my honest review.I really wanted to love this, because I can't figure out how to make it go back to the clock while listening to music (which really ticks me off) and I know it does, I have video proof. Awesome. Just Awesome - does everything I want a speaker to do and more.
This thing is fantastic. A lot of bluetooth speakers are one, maybe two trick ponies (a speaker, sure, MAYBE also a speakerphone). But this one's really got it all. It'll read USB drives with MP3's on it if you don't have a phone nearby - you can put a microSD card in and play your tunes that way, it's got an FM (no AM) radio, and a line in, and it's a clock and an alarm clock too! The treble can get a tiny bit tinny, but nothing bad, and certainly within the tolerances of other bluetooth speakers I've used, and the bass is actually REALLY good - much more than I would have expected for something so compact and small. I'm actually going to start traveling with this, since it makes for a great alarm clock too. Battery life is decent, I got about 5 hours on a full charge - one little warning though, don't let it die all the way, or you'll have to reset the clock every time. I received this item at a discount in exchange for an honest review.
