Long cord and lots of plugs!! Works great
I have been using APC for a very long time, I can say I personally have never lost items on a APC due to a surge, not saying it wont happen or can't but so far in the 20 years of trusting them it has never happened. These power strips in my opinion are fine for basic items TV, clock, fans, phones, wifi and so on. It may seem like a more expensive surge but to be realistic this is a good price. Sure if you want to plug your 1000.00 phone and 750.00 TV into a 12.00 power strip I guess you can afford new ones after they get fried. With APC you will have great protection. I got the item fast and it is well built and high quality,

Excellent Surge Strip
I have 3 of these now. I love that they have plenty of outlets, including the 2 USB charging ports. They are low profile but add plenty of expandability. Very useful for an entertainment center, computer station, or any location you need to add a lot of outlets to. And added feature, it has 90 degree plug for the wall! Makes it great to put behind a dresser, desk, or just to have overall nice looking cable management. I will buy again next time I need a power strip!

Easy, Efficient, Handles All of Your Electronics Easily - Didn't Receive Warranty/Coverage Card
Great surge protector....but there is no required "card to send back" to register the product and get the $250,000 in protecting for your electronics nor the lifetime warranty! I checked the packaged, instructions, and box over and over again and there is definitely NO CARD. The instructions tell you specifically that you MUST send the card back via snail-mail to activate your warranty as well as the coverage of your devices....but no card of any kind is included and the instructions/insert don't include an alternate option like registering online or even by phone. This is a major issue to me because that means that one of these things is an issue with this product:1. the seller cannot offer the warranty, but is advertising that they are.... OR2. The seller is unaware that the manufacturer hasn't included the necessary card... OR3. The info on the insert is outdated and there IS somewhere else to register the product that isn't included in the packaging or insert/instructionsRegardless of which is this case....this is a real problem that I hope I can get resolved. I'm setting the rating at 4 Stars because I don't know the answer to that particular issue yet and I'm staying positive since the product itself is excellent and working really well for us and all of our needs. The surge protector is heavy, durable, and high quality. We tend to gather on the sofa together instead of all being separately on our devices and computers, so we previously had a really old power cord that was actually cracked OPEN with exposed wiring (yes....very dangerous, I know) but we kept using it because we needed a cord at least 8' long to run from the nearest outlet, under our sofa, and back out to under our coffee table area where we basically have ALL of our personal electronics at all times. My significant other and I both do extra work online and at-home as well as regular use of our electronics. But between just the two of us (my son has his own desk and computer/media area) we have a ridiculous amount of things either charging or plugged in at once. We're using this surge-protector for (and this is just the "always plugged in stuff")* 1 15" Chromebook* 1 Samsung 7 Edge Cell Phone* 2 30Watt Electronic Cigarette Batteries* 1 Mac Laptop* 1 iPhone 6* 1 Samsung S2 8" Tablet* 1 Samsung Tab 8"* 1 iPhone 4 (disconnected but used for gaming over wifi)* 1 Heating Pad set on "High" all of the time (bad back)* 1 HP G-Series Laptop* 1 USB Laptop/Fan DeskThis is just what our normal "cord mess" is for the two of us and all of the things listed are either plugged in half of the day or all of the time. We needed something safe and with plenty of outlet space because even with the 11 outlets and 2 USB's....we use the extenders for additional USB charging (for extras and some things on the list). This surge protector is PERFECT if you're abusing your outlets and have an extreme media area like ours. It hasn't flickered to "yellow" yet and all of our devices are charging fast, keeping power well, and we've actually had a barrage of thunderstorms since purchasing and had no problems at all. I almost feel like we got it just in time because I thought "thank goodness I just threw that old cord out before this storm".This surge protector lays flat and the cord swivels to lay flat and stay stable/hidden more easily, as well. All of the outlets are well-space unlike my old one and even my boyfriend's boxy, ridiculous cord (to what I believe to be the oldest Apple Laptop that exists) to Samsung's notably large chargers and Apple's oddly-shaped chargers. The bigger outlets are awesome for computer power cords that are fat, wide, or generally annoying. Plugs are "tight" (meaning your plugs don't flop around) and keep a barrage of cords organized and easily unplug and move around without accidentally tangling and unplugging everything else. The 2 USB ports seem like a minimal amount to me considering the size and price of this unit compared to some other smaller (and admittedly lower quality) units. On a surge protector this large you'd normally get at least 3 USB ports, so that's a negative for us because even when we use the AC Adapters with USB "option" instead of just the USB....we still have to use an add-on USB block for the minimum of 3 USB-Only devices we charge in this area. So that's something that could be improved for sure.I'm not going to bother with the technical spec or details I gathered from the info online and/or the included packet of information because others here have already run down complete lists of those details and I can't see more than what's provided in the other reviews as necessary at this point. Most shoppers just want to know if it's durable, works well, and fulfills the needs of lots of electronics safely and efficiently. And the answer is YES. It's an excellent product thus far.The problem with the warranty card is a big one that I'm not considering *at this point* in this review because I have not gotten a chance to speak to the seller about the problem yet, so it may be a simple mix up or easily resolved. I will change the 4 stars either up or down once I've had that conversation and gotten the info on the $250,000 and warranty that I can't get at this point.

A great solution for peripheral protection.
I purchased this to replace a battery-backup unit in which the battery had worn out. I figured I would divide the load between items I might need to run on battery and items I only want to protect.I don't use it for the computer itself or for the monitors, but I do use it for the printers and other peripherals. It has a "fail-safe" technology which will sacrifice the unit to save the connected equipment if the electric current exceeds the unit's capacity to protect (in this case, 2880 joules). To me, this makes perfect sense. I am buying this primarily to protect equipment that would be more expensive to replace than a surge protector. (Other types of surge protectors will only protect to their designated capacity and die without stopping the current before it reaches the equipment).Like with all surge protectors and battery back up units, it may come with 11 outlets, but good luck with being able to use them all. It's got 6 block-plug outlets (I was able to use 5) and 5 regular outlets (I was able to use 3). It also comes with 2 USB chargers (doesn't everything?) and a collection of lights that indicate operation, overload, and other potential issues. It can be wall-mounted.My only complaint is that, for my purposes, an 8-foot cord is too long. It is such a thick and stiff cord that it is clumsy to use in the limited space under my desk. Luckily, the plug for it has rotation built in but that doesn't solve the problem of what to do with the extra almost-inflexible cable length. I didn't deduct a star for this inconvenience because, to someone else, the length might be an asset.

Well made
I have 3 of these powering various devices and these have not let me down. We've had several power outages and I haven't had any issues with my computers and other electronics. The 2 USB ports are a nice bonus. The power cord is long enough for my application and is thick and has a nice protective sleeve on it. The cord does swivel on the unit itself that way you have different ways to mount it without the cord interfering with whatever you are trying to do. The unit itself is made of plastic and looks good.
