I have an old cross pen. I love the feel of using it, but it was not writing very smoothly. I should have immediately thought of the refill which is almost as old as the multi-decade old pen. I ordered these refills and they work like a charm. I was able to write again like I remembered. The ink flows out smoothly with a strong dark color.

Fits my hand crafted pen perfectly.

The pen refill works great AFTER you remove the factory applied seal on the tip, which isn't as easy to do as it should be. Both refills in this package then worked perfectly with no "skipping" as mentioned in some other reviews.

I tried the off brand refills and they leaked ink. From now on I'll stick with the cross brand. They are smooth and don't leak ink every where.

I tried this in a Cross pen, and it works fine.

The pens (Cross twisters) with 24k attachments, were separate awards of achievement 30yrs. ago. The gold pen still writes well, the black one didn't. Replaced both with new Cross refills, that work so well, I find it difficult to part with them. Gifts to my kids, one a teacher, the other a paramedic. I'm certain they will see as much service from these pens as I did...

When I reported a Mistake with the shipment (Wrong Item Shipped Cross 8783-2) the replacement was immediately shipped and was the correct item.
