This smells great and really is light weight. I have fairly fine hair that has a little natural wave but a lot of products weigh it down to end up straight. This let's me wear my waves and can define them nicely. I had been using OGX lightweight but I like this better and it's more affordable.

Fine, wavy to 3a hair that is low porosity. This is my new favorite thing.First of all, this product smells amazing. It's not one of those heavy perfume smells. Mostly citrus, a bright and natural smell. More importantly, it works fantastic. I was using an expensive organic conditioner for curly hair that my stylist had recommended and it just wasn't working for me. This is about a quarter of the price and a million times better. I have low porosity hair and my hair just was not absorbing the other conditioner. Now my hair is moisturized, shiny, AND had volume after using- the holy grail combo. Plus my hair is so soft. It's like my hair has been dying for this all along. Not too heavy to use at the roots as well. Now my scalp is no longer itchy.

The consistency is nice, the quality is great, it cleanses the hair slightly but mostly moisturizes, it’s lightweight and the smell is heavenly! Leaves my hair shiny

1st use: The scent profile suggested citrus, but it does not smell how one would imagine. Product smells like hollistic bug spray? Needless to say, not a fan of the smell. The plastic bottle it comes in is indeed, evil. I saw the reviews and thought to myself, "I'll just transfer it to a different container." NOPE. Lid is LOCKED in place with no safety seal at all, just a flip-top lid you can't unscrew, in a thick plastic bottle you can't squeeze. Consistency & coverage is excellent! I have long medium-thick hair so I'm used to using extra conditioner, but I didn't have to use as much. Wet hair certainly feels softer. We'll see how these 2C curls behave when dry. To be continued...3 days use (following directions on the bottle) and my curls do seem progressively less frizzy. I like how thick it is, allowing for thorough coverage. (Can confirm, bottle is evil. Shout out to the "unless you shower with the Hulk" review! Spot on!) Still not a fan of the smell, but I can't argue with the results.

Love this for my Irish curls.

I have longer, white lady frizzyish banana-ish type curls and my hair is drying, especially the blind balyage on brownish with 10% gray & I air-dry.I recently used the shampoo, conditioner & same line styling products for the 1st time with, FOR ME, no great results to mention, sorry. But it smelled WONDERFUL, a little went a LONG way; very rich shampoo. The conditioner didn't leave a slick feeling, it rinsed out maybe too well, so it FELT like I needed to condition again with something heavier or more coating. But I didn't.I'm no expert but I think this product would work wonderfully on the hair of 20-30 yr olds who already had healthy natural hair, even straigh hair, to make it clean, smell good & even better quality. But for curly/frizzy type meduim textured foiled shaft dryish hair like mine, it was not an exciting new discovery. Maybe it needs more flaxseed? Or, market it to non-dry, non frizzyish heads cuz it didn't improve that.

If you know what the Curly Girl Method is, this shampoo is CG approved plus it's reasonably priced and easy to find. The packaging and fragrance also make it a hit with my teen!
