ETI Lighting 54074143 12-Inch LED Flushmount 1000 Lumen Ceiling Fixture, 14-watt

This fixture has a switching power supply, which means that it runs fine on standard 120 volt power and ought to be usable in countries with 240 volts also. What was surprising to me was that even though this fixture had a very cold color (which, in LEDs, usually means more energy efficiency), its efficacy turned out to be only 71 lumens per watt, which is a bit behind the curve. (LED lighting is hitting 100 lumens per watt nowadays, and Cree has demonstrated LEDs that surpass 200 lm/w.) Should be less expensive, considering that its innards are, essentially, an AC-powered flashlight and it will have to be thrown out altogether (not just have a bulb replaced) after 3.5 years of continuous use.Addendum: Ironically, after I first posted this review, the price was raised by $20 from $39.99 -- which I already thought was high -- to $59.99. At the latter price, I can no longer recommend the fixture as it is too much more expensive than similar fixtures sold under the "Commercial Electric" brand at Home Depot.

I bought six+ of these for my apartment building. Two fixtures failed about 2 years after installation. I kept all the packaging (as I do with products under warranty). The Amazon description says there's a 5-year warranty, but the product only says it has a 3-year warranty. Knowing this is outside Amazon's return policy, I contacted the manufacturer, ETI Lighting. The customer service rep asked me to email her the original invoices (which I had) and the product documentation, which I also had. I was not asking for a refund; only a replacement. It has now been more than a month, and have left 3 messages and 2 emails following up, and she yet to respond to any of them. While the others are working fine, and are a great source of light, it's my responsibility to let you know that 2 out of 6 of their light fixtures were faulty, and they will not uphold the warranty.

Surprisingly, these fixtures (drawing only 14 Watts, I believe) are MUCH brighter than the incandescent bulbs they replaced. The light is a very bright light (don't go with these if you're looking for a warm color), and lit the hallway they are in evenly.The cons - they are single units that will have to be replaced if they fail (the bulbs are not replaceable) -- but that shouldn't happen for many years. They were simple to install.All in all, great units!

Great product. I did think it was the same at the ETI Spin Light, ETI Lighting 54606143, but it is not and must be hardwired. Regardless, it is a low profile bright light and perfect for my garage.

An easy install that provides a great amount of light. They have only been up a month and seem to be working perfectly.

The 277 volt spec is a bit of concern for residential US customers. The only place you will see 277v is in a commercial building with 3 phase power.

Great replacement for a basic ceiling fixture; also available with a pull-chain if needed but I've got to tell you, these are cool-running and much brighter than CFL bulbs which ran VERY HOT.
