Size wise are they the same as the Jumbo?
Are there 16 different colors or just two sets of 8 colors?
Would these be appropriate to give a 13 month old? He's been stealing my pens and sort of drawing with them.
looking for something for my toddler to use on high chair tray. would they wash off that?

Thick for small hands and hard to break - very washable crayons
I purchased these crayons for my toddler for Christmas, since she's at that stage where she likes to color. I was eager to see how well these washed off since they were labeled as washable and my child has a tendency to color on any surface, almost. These crayons are thick, so that smaller hands can grasp them and they do not break easily (the tips are currently broken off of a few because they were bitten off by my daughter!). The crayons have been used to mark up her place mat as well as her table which is made of hard plastic. There has also been some markings on the wall. They cleaned up easily with lysol wipes on the table and placemat. I used a magic eraser for the wall. The crayon did come off with less effort than typically used for crayon markings. Overall, I really like these. I wish they came in larger packages. I also find that they are the perfect height to store in recycled Talenti gelato containers.

Save Your Furniture/Walls, Buy These Crayons
I love these crayons. My 2 year old also loves them, which is great because they are washable so when he inevitably colors something he shouldn't (a wall, the television, carpeting, himself, etc.) they wash up REALLY easily! Just a little warm water on a paper towel does the trick. As result of their ease to wash up they are a little soft (read: breakable) however it's actually been a good thing. Regular crayons tend to break into fragments upon impact, these however usually don't usually break unless stepped on and if that happens they always cleanly -- right in half, so there's not crayon dust everywhere. As an artist I was also surprised with the quality of these crayons. They glide on smoothly and evenly with vivid pigment, more like an oil pastel than a crayon.

Great product! 👍🏻
My toddler and I are wonderfully pleased with these crayons. They are larger than our faux "jumbo" crayons (which have all sadly snapped or broken) and we're loving both the easy-to-grip size of these as well as the wide variety of colors. All 16 colors are different and the Color Max makes them appear a bit more vibrant on paper than the non-Color Max versions. Did I mention that the box we got shipped to us had absolutely no crayons broken or smashed or in pieces? Hallelujah!

These Washable Crayons are Great for Young Children and Give Me a Few Minutes of Peace and Quiet!
When I was younger I loved coloring so I was excited when my twins reached the age where they could start coloring too! I've always been a fan of Crayola products so I was delighted to see that there are large, washable crayons available for young children, the washable aspect being the selling point for me. We first purchased this exact box of crayons in a local store over a year ago and for my twins' third birthday this year, we ordered them each their own box since they like to fight over some of the same colors. This particular box contains 16 large crayons in the following colors: red, orange, red orange, yellow orange, yellow, green, yellow green, blue, blue green, violet, blue violet, red violet, carnation pink, brown, black, and white. I feel this box offers enough of a variety so young children can color and have more than just the very basic colors.I really like these crayons and feel that the large size is great for small hands. My twins are easily able to hold them. I have a box of regular Crayola crayons so I was able to compare the washables with mine. I feel the color is pretty much the same between the two types and I love the fact that the washable crayons really wash off surfaces. We haven't had too many instances of my kids coloring where they shouldn't but so far, they have worked really well. They are nontoxic and made in Mexico. The only problem I can see with these crayons is that they seem to chip more easily than the regular crayons. When we took these crayons out of the box, there were small pieces of crayon that came out with them so it seems the formula for the washable crayons makes them break a little more easily. However, I feel the benefits (large size, washable) outweigh the cons so for me, these crayons are still worth it.I think these crayons are great for young children and, even though they seem to chip more easily than the regular crayons, I will still purchase them until my kids are old enough where they can use regular crayons safely. I think the price is fairly reasonable and the variety of colors in this box is perfect. I love the size and the fact that they are washable so if you want crayons for a young child who is just starting to color, these are a good option and I definitely recommend them. Finally, my kids each have their own box of crayons and I can have five minutes of peace and quiet.

Cleanup is easy on the surfaces I've colored with
Cleanup is easy on the surfaces I've colored with. I was hesitant because so many reviews talk about broken crayons, but my 20 month old twins have had no issues with these.Update: After 9 months use, I'm ready to retire these crayons and buy a new box. 1 or 2 broke off after months of use, possibly due to softening in the heat or holding a while. Either way, these are perfect for introductory crayons. They are easy to clean off, and they color the pages well. I would only get these for toddlers, or children who are not at the age where they can color in the lines. I found the crayons to be too big to stay in the lines when coloring with the kids, especially as they become stumpy and unsharpened.

Very washable. Will buy again
We love these. Larger size makes it easier for little hands to grasp. VERY WASHABLE! I did note that if your little one does manage to get one in their mouth, it will turn their mouth that color vs. a regular crayon would not. This includes pieces being dropped on clothing. But again, it washes out of EVERYTHING. I think this is due to the product being listed as “ very washable”.Had some marks on the table and a damp cloth removed it easily. Worked well on walls/removal from walls.

They're nontoxic in case gnawing (teething babies have a penchant for that) and easy to clean up in case he gets over-enthusiastic and completely misses the paper. You'll just want to supervise him. I started introducing my son to crayons at about that age and while he didn't really get into scribbling and coloring with them until about 20 months, he enjoyed sorting them by color and experimenting with the idea that he could make them draw for months before then.My son took a bite out of an orange one before I could stop him and he was totally fine. A little infant toothpaste on his toothbrush cleaned the pigment out of his teeth in one go. The pigment then rinsed clean from his toothbrush no problem."}},{"@type":"Question","name":"looking for something for my toddler to use on high chair tray. would they wash off that?","acceptedAnswer":{"@type":"Answer","text":"I'm glad to answer your question.
