I'm so happy with this instrument
I'm so happy with this instrument, I just bought another as a gift for my son. My neighborhood backs up to a large pond in a nature preserve, and can observe tremendous details of bird plumage, etc at several hundred yards. It's well constructed and the optics are very clear. A great value!

I like the old-style look that in which the telescope is made. The style of the telescope looks authentic.Thank you for shipping it safely to me. The telescope is well package to prevent any mishap.

Looks great, but not functional
The appearance and weight of this spy glass speaks quality. The presentation box is also quite nice. However it is not functional. I have not been able to view objects at any distance.

It looks like a replica
Gave this to one of the pickiest father in laws for Christmas; he has everything! I can't tell how well I scored with this gift. It looks like a replica, but is totally useful. You can see 20 miles out clearly with it. Yes, you read that right. 20 miles. Take it on the boat, the beach, the forest, anywhere....its TOTALLY worth the money. In fact, I'm shocked at the cost. It should be worth a great deal more. My F-I-L nickname is "Cap", short for captain, as he used to have a houseboat years back. This made it an even better gift. :)

Leather is on the light side, but this is a quality piece
The leather was a bit on the light side in coloration, but I have zero complaints about the quality otherwise. It works as well, so it's not just a display piece. Box is good quality and overall, is a recommended purchase by me.

Broke the day I gave it as a gift
This looked so beautiful and my daughter loved it...for a day. A piece broke off inside and rendered it useless and she hadn’t been rough with it. Severely disappointed as it was her favorite gift for a whole afternoon.
