Everything and the kitchen sink!
I’ve used these on my car before, but this purchase was for the kitchen sink. I hate the sound of things dropping into the sink, so I applied it to the bottoms of the stainless steel sinks. It dulls the crash quite a bit, and I am super happy that it is now a dull thud instead of a resonant crash! I highly recommend this product not only for cars, but also for the kitchen sink!

Good Stuff ! ! !
I just used the Uxcell 80 mil on my new 60 gallon air compressor tank. You could thump the tank and it would ring like a bell. I rolled 5 sheets onto the back side and it deadened the tank. It took the ringing right out of the tank. The big compressor is noisy. I added the sound deadening and anti-vibration and isolation floor pads and that all together did help reduce the noise level just a bit. The rest of the Uxcell will be used in my old Ford Ranger 4x4, I'll pick up were I left off. I've done the back of the extended cab, from the seats on back (removed the jump seats) and it made a big difference. I removed the rear interior panels and rear door panels and covered all that I could. I installed a sub, new door speakers and added tweeters to the rear doors and since installing the deadening I can enjoy listening to my tunes.

The item does what its says for a very low price
I used this to insulate and sound deadened the cabinet in which my air handler was , it did a great job at both . I measured a 15• F difference in temp and 17db difference in sound . It also has enough coverage to do the job twice !

Good.
They came in small sheets of 9. I have a small car and they fit nicely, But the only thing i didnt like they were not sticky enough. I made it work. for the price and size that they came in I would buy again.

used this to line the inside of speaker pods in my bronco
I replaced the 4" speaker pods in my bronco with 6" speaker pods. The plastic sounded hollow and tinny. I lined the inside of each pod with sound deadner. It was easy to cut with scissors into shapes that I needed and the adhesion sticks well once in place. Then filled each pod with fiberfill. Made a noticeable difference in the sound of each pod. I cannot attest to how well this deadens sound since I did not use it for that purpose. This was super easy to use so I would order it again or recommend it to a friend.

It really works!
When I purchased product, I was very apprehensive, I was getting it to reduce the " Lumber Wagon Noise " my 1999 Lincoln Nautilus "Black Label" was making.Well, I put them in the back floor as a test, and they reduced the noise, so I placed then in the front & Back seat area and the noise has all but vanished.( Just a note: I used them out of the box, and just put them under the floor mats. )Also I was concerned, that the Butyl would have a smell, but they don't have a smell.I would recommend this product " VERY HIGH "Zaigs

Uxcell 80 mil butyl is 65 mil thick - BUY VEVOR 80mil instead
I bought 3 brands of butyl sound deadener to see which one lived up to the hype and the best value. Measured a random sheet out of each box with calipers in 20-30 spots around the sheet, then weighed on a digital scale.- Uxcell 80 mil butyl is actually 65 mil thick average. Sheet weighs 9.67oz and is 151sqin (9.75"x15.5"), which calculates to 15.6sqin per ounce. This was the least sticky of the bunch, probably poor adhesion as mentioned in another review, no noticed odor. Sending back. (False advertising?)- Kilmat 80mil butyl is 80 mil thick average. Sheet weighs 8.2oz and is 160sqin (10"x16"), which calculates to 19.5sqin per ounce. Sticky, but weighs the least and I could notice an odor while handling it. Sending back.- Vevor 80 mil butyl is 80 mil thick average. Sheet weighs 10.87oz and is 145sqin (10"x14.5"), which calculates to 13.4sqin per ounce. This was the heaviest butyl of the bunch, nice and sticky, no noticed odor. Installing this sound deadener. As for sound deadening qualities I'm not sure how Vevor will compare to Kilmat, but Vevor is heavier and less expensive.

Went down well and looks great. Advise getting the roller because this stuff is stiff.
