These mats are generously sized. Slightly larger than my last mat, so I have room for a few extra items on the side, which I like. I recommend that you measure where you're going to put the mat so you get the right size, they make several. The terry cloth cover seems absorbent. The backing is a mesh to allow for evaporation. The three of these were about the cost of the last one I purchased, which is great. My theory this time is that I'm going to alternate so I can toss these in the wash. We'll see how they hold up. They are not quilted or tacked through the center, so we'll see if the foam interior tears at all when washed. My last one kept mildewing, so I'll report back in a couple of weeks to see how this one does. I think it might do better because these don't have the rubberized backing. I think the rubberized backing seems appropriate for adding a non-slip feature, but holds more moisture in. I have the first mat "in service" with my large IKEA draining rack on top, and it's staying in place nicely. I'll update as needed in a few weeks to report back on durability and mildew resistance. We were not lucky to have moved into a condo rental and the dishwasher not work just before the pandemic. I didn't want to bother the landlord to come and plus, we just moved in so there were boxes everywhere. These mats have come in handy when doing the dishes and reduced the amount of paper towel on the counters to collect the water. These have been a life saver. I have noticed (and this is the reason for 4 stars), that there are water marks that don't seem to dry up. I may have to try washing them to see if that helps.

It's super absorbent, true to color, and exactly what we needed for our teeny tiny counter space. We desperately needed a drying rack because I hate washing dishes, but I hate drying dishes more, so I'd just leave them on the counter and it drove my boyfriend crazy! But our drying rack didn't come with a mat, so we got one of these and couldn't be happier! Didn't need two, but it was a great price and we figured we could swap one out if it got nasty, wash it, and put the other one underneath until it was time to repeat that cycle. This little mat catches every drop of water without leaking through to the other side. I like this pad because every once in a while I get ambitious, and on that day all the little delicate knick knacks get washed. Fragile glass, china, and porcelain figurines and miniature treasures get a dip in the suds. Too small and delicate for a drying rack.After rinsing, they went on the mat, which wicks away water that can leave a spot.The color is bright and cheerful.Product received to test with the option to review. They are good for my purpose. I bought these to put on the space behind the headboard on our bed. They are just the right size for that. They are absorbant enough to to keep the condensation from a glass from getting through to the wood below. But I don't think putting dripping wet dishes to dry on these may not keep your counter dry. So far I have not had to clean them, but again, they don't seem to be something you can just throw in the washer. I think it would probably wrinkle them. They would probably be small to set drying dishes on. Check the measurements before you buy. So they are good for my purpose.

This is exactly what I was looking for . I live in a town home that has a small kitchen . As you can see in the photo it is perfect for the spot I have it in . Very sturdy drying mat haven’t had to wash it yet since I just received it, so I don’t know exactly how it will do in the wash but I will definitely wash it on gentle and hang dry it .Perfect size for the area I have it in . Exactly what I was looking for and thank you Amazon .

I bought one of these for myself and one as a gift for my daughter. I used mine first and immediately fell in love! This mat is amazing! Its absorbent (for those puddles under the dish drainer) and so easy to clean (it goes right in the washer). I actually hesitated on giving it to my daughter thinking that I could have an extra pair! In the end, I did give it to her and she loved it! Highly recommend it!
