Pro mix is an excellent soil to start seeds, to pot up plants or to use as an additive to your soil. It is packaged dry, just dampen it with water and it's ready to use.

I have used Pro Mix for many years for my potted plants, however it was a bit different than this mix. It came in a plain black plastic bag. This has more peat moss than I would normally use. However, it is working out fine, but has to be watered each day it doesn't rain. It does drain well. The mix I liked best would go a couple of days. My flowers are growing like weeds, are going to be show stoppers and beautiful. I can't complain, but next year I will look a bit more before making my purchase.
