After returning the first one I received ( it didn't work), I received another one. I absolutely like this work horse. It shreds paper so easy and is very reliable. And not to mention, it is really quiet (compared to my old one. For the price, it is a great buy.

Works well, pretty quiet. So far I'm very satisfied. The wheels could be a bit larger as it doesn't move so easily. But doable!

Great shredder for home use does as advertised

When I received the shredder for my church, I was so excited and started shredding old envelopes from 2 years ago. It was awesome! Then I started shredding financial reports from 5 years ago and that's when I saw an issue. When I would stop shredding, the shredder would continue to run forward and then it stopped and started running in reverse. The problem with that is, all the paper that had not dropped would come back up to the top of shredder and created a jam. I had to clear it out in order to shred more paper. So, I started lightly pressing the lever after a few shreds to make it think I was shredding and it would clear any paper that had not dropped. That is time consuming and I was disappointed with that. I wish there was a way to turn the auto reverse off.

(imho). Have owned other shredders for sensitive documents etc & wanted a top of the line.THIS SHREDDER:MICRO-CUT = The better cut, it's like tiny confetti, not strips that could be glued back together.TINY-SIZED MICRO-CUT "CONFETTI" = This one micro cuts to a tiny size; better since the whole purpose is to shred for security reasonsQUIET = 60 db (imho) Not loud. I sat right in front of it & could've talked on my phone at the same time. So, you could also use this is one room & it wouldn't hinder anyone else sleeping or watching TV etc in another area.GOOD SIZE = 5.3 gallon means you could shred 480pages before you need to empty it. Big enough to shred & hold a bunch, but not so big that you can't make is discreet in a room or home officeEASY SETUP = Super easy right out of the box. I don't want to deal with complicated or time consuming setups. The shredder jammed and unlike my last one, there are no screws to take the top piece off to clear the jam, so I emailed customer service. I had to follow-up a couple of times before they responded, and then they wanted pictures. I sent pictures and days later, they decided that wasn't enough and wanted a video and then claimed that they couldn't open the video. So it has been weeks and now they're telling me to call customer service, but have yet to provide that phone number. Awful

Bought this to replace a Fellowes unit that pooped out after 15 years of light duty home shredding. Very quiet, nice design, a little smaller than my prior machine so easier to move around. Biggest plus so far, I can put credit card receipts into the slot and don't have to hold my mouth just right to get it to start up. Worth it, remains to be seen if it'll go for 15 years.

Having worked in government for many years I understood the "P" ratings for shredders. Since I have PII that identity thieves could use I wanted a P-5 or above shredder to shred private confidential documents. I was skeptical when I saw the size of this shredder and its P-5 claim. This is the REAL DEAL! Check out my pics especially the individual shred size. This shredder is a BEAST! It is truly a P-5 shredder capable, micro cut, of shredding highly confidential documents. The value for the price is undeniable. The set up is easy. The shred quality is excellent. The design and size are perfect. Auto start and stop capable. Can easily handle unto 12 sheets at a time. Has reverse capability... not that I needed to use it. Can shred credit cards with ease. No complaints here. Does exactly what I need it to do. If you have a business or personally identifiable information (PII) or confidential information that you want to destroy with ease, this is your shredder. If there is one observation this is it, it may not be practical for a business where there are multiple users. That said, If a business has this shredder for individual user use this is well worth the investment.
