Worked exactly like the original on our petsafe model IF-100. So glad you have one available because it is such an odd voltage and amperage combo, no one will have one "laying around the house" that will work for this application. The original is 19v 1.25 amps, this replacement is19v with up to 3.42 amps available! At around a 30% duty cycle, this should last forever...

If you own a wireless perimeter dog fence system, listen up!Our 8 year old unit stopped working. 'The light was "on" but, nobody was home.' I bought a whole new system, set it up, and was happy. These systems are easy to set up and work really well. The dog was back in business.Then, I thought to try the new ac/dc adapter on my old unit. It was the ac/dc adapter that was the problem! Do I want to throw out a perfectly fine system and, spend $300 on a new system or, spend $20 on a new adapter? Of course, the adapter was not sold separately by the manufacturer, even though it's on their 'parts' list. I was so relieved to find it on Amazon! I'm not sure if 19V converters are rare. Everything I saw was 6V or 9V. Only Amazon had exactly what I needed. Thank you, thank you!!

Bought for a replacement for our Pet Safe Wireless Fence. Worked fine for a week then died. I always read reviews and thought this would be a good purchase but it was not.

The item I received was not what was pictured and described. The end meant to go in a three prong outlet was completely different and would not work for me.

Does NOT work for the 300-1070 as advertised. The voltage is too low. The light turns on for the control module but you can hear that it does not activate. Several seconds later it just beeps until you unplug it. How do I know its the power supply and not something else? I own an electric engineering company and I have been using an industrial 24VDC power supply from my shop to keep my unit powered while waiting for this item to arrive. It works fine at the rated 24VDC but this adapter is only 19VDC and it does not work. Complete waste of money and does not match the Pet Smart's original specs. Now I have my industrial power supply from the shop running it again but I'd rather not because it is large and expensive. NOTE: It is possible other Pet Smart modules have different power supply requirements so I would check and verify the voltage since this one is only 19VDC.

Works as described.Not the same model as the original adapter for PetSafe Wireless Fence Pet Containment System, but in my opinion, works better because it is not a wall wart.
