This magnetic connector seats itself perfectly and makes a good connection for charging.If you need this to work as a data cable, this product will not handle data, only power. The cable itself is a little thin which may limit its life, but it does mean the cable is more flexible than typical stock cell phone charging cables.

Really like this product. Will probably buy a third one soon. Love the way you don't have to struggle plugging in the cell phone now. Just hold magnet close and "snap"! It auto connects. Charges quickly and just as efficiently as standard USB cable.

The Sojitek magnetic charging cable has the strongest magnetic coupler of any cable I have ever seen. The magnets have no trouble staying together while charging my phone from a battery pack while jogging. I was so impressed by the quality of this cable that I bought three more.This is a charging only cable. There are no data pins. This cable only has one center pin and ring. As such, there is no risk of damaging a USB port due to shorting caused by misalignment.

Have had for a month now. It just works. Super strong magnet. I have one in every room and in my car. Beware does not do data transfers and charges at 1A and 2A only. I use the 1A 5' cord at my bedside since it'll have all night to charge anyway, so not an issue.

long cord is nice but sometimes in the way.

Arrived faster than expected. I absolutely love this product. No more dealing with cases that I can barely get the plug into the designated hole.
