The Christian Warfare: An Exposition of Ephesians 6:10-13 Paperback – March 15, 1998

The "Doctor" (D. Martyn Lloyd-Jones) is one of the most Biblical, explicit, clear, logical and superb writers I've ever found in the Kingdom. He provides practical tools to help strengthen Christians with God's word on subjects that are critical to our times. This book is the best manual I've found on how to "be in the world and not of it," as well as to know what we're dealing with. If God puts this book in your hands, you will be blessed. I'm getting a copy for many people I know who continue to be bewildered by the state of the world, the subtle persecution of our Church, and the errors and blatant lies that have infected our society and brethren.

A truly excellent book by David Martyn Lloyd Jones. It has the companion book of Christian Warfare which is the first in the 2 part sermon series presented in these books. They explain so much that isn't taught from pulpits now and it is necessary reading to truly understand these passages of Scripture. My recommendation... buy them both and keep them handy in your core library.

Everything from Martyn Lloyd Jones is must to read

As with practically everything I have read by D. Martyn Lloyd-Jones, this book was a tremendous blessing. The author truly honors God's Word and spoke a blessing to my soul in every chapter. He handles the topic of spiritual warfare in a way that is scholarly, evangelical, and highly practical for our every day walk with the Lord.I would highly recommend also his book on the Sermon on the Mount to anyone who has not read it - truly one of the best Christian books I have ever read.

He has taken the veil off the evil one and exposed him for the liar and robber that he truly is....This book is a must-read for all serious students of the Bible! I use this book to enhance my awareness of the enemy tactics against his people and how we can protect ourselves from him in Christ Jesus.

Lloyd-Jones writes with insight from Heaven. This book should be 'required' reading for the Christian who is wanting victory over the deceptions the devil puts out. Though one's victory is certainly with the Lord and not dependent on what is in this book it does help to put things perceptive.
