The Eye Doctor Essential Mask – Hot Eye Compress Heat Bag for Dry Eye, Blepharitis and MGD - Safe to Heat in a Microwave – Hot and Cold Eye Compress

Excellent for blepharitis. I bought a $50 heated mask with a massage function, and that works fine, but this is so much better in terms of the amount of heat delivered after heating it in the microwave, and how snugly it fits on your eyelids. Can get very hot depending on what type of microwave you’re using, there are instructions for how long to heat it, but you have to test it out. 25 seconds for me is perfect on high. I’ve been using the mask twice a day and it has helped immensely, so much so that I’ve stopped using my rechargeable one with massage function. After heating, the heat will last approximately 10 to 15 minutes, so if you need to do it longer (my doctor recommended 20 minutes to half an hour twice a day) you will have to reheat and reapply. Highly recommended as far as I’m concerned.

It works well does the heat retention is less than I expected. I was hoping 15 minutes, but about 10 minutes and then it cools down quickly. I heat mine for a full 30 seconds.

I have an eye condition needs this heat treatment so recommended by a doctor I try. It is easy to heat, hold the warmth for the 4-5 mins I require and very easy to wear, sitting gently covering all the eye completely. Very conventient.

Feels wonderful on the eyes just make sure you don’t over heat it.

Its kinda cool literally for my eyes which is what I needed as allergies were just causing my eyes so much distress. No need for all they eye cleansing pads included. Its probably a bit silly and I could have used some ice in a ziplock or something.

Works as Described

This is just OK - I wish that it was filled with rice that is a little bit damp when warmed up. I don't know what is inside, but whatever it is it doesn't get damp when warmed. It does get very hot, but doesn't stay that way very long. I am using this on my eyes, but truthfully I will probably order another one that gets a bit moist and holds it heat longer.
