It stopped the heat from getting onto the bed, the carpet, the ironing board, the tv table, the vinyl plank flooring, and the desk. I've literally used my heat press and mat in three different rooms, and on all the materials I could think of. It works! On the sofa and ironing board, the fabric as warm after use, but not hot. It's worth purchasing over the Cricut heat mat. Save some money to use to buy more vinyl!

This was on sale for 10 bucks a lot cheaper then any other place I had seen. It works great haven't had any issues with it.
