Q: Would this net work to stop basketballs?

Yes it stops basketballs that’s why I got it, we r on a main road and was worried works like a charm. My 8 year old kicks soccer ballad hard at it

Q: How weather resistant is this product? Can it be left out in the rain without worry?

Q: How long is the foot at the bottom? I have a small flat area behind basketball hoop, then it drops down the hill. Can you just stake it?

It is 55 inches long. I guess you can stake it if you attach makeshift straps on top of the ends at all 4 corners that you can stake through onto the ground to secure them
