Guidance of Young Children (9th Edition)

This was my textbook this past semester. It has a lot of information that is so relevent to early childhood. A very good read for parents as well as teachers. The text and language is simple and easy to read/understand. I like that they give many strategies for behavior modification and most of all this book teachers adults how to speak and relate to children when using guidance strategies.

I adore this textbook. I ordered it for my college ECE course. It arrived quickly with minimal travel damage. Upon reading the contents it has come to be one of my favourite books from my program. It is easy to read and gives concise and detailed information on how to guide a child's behaviour. It also touches base of child development and child care guidelines. I would say this book is a must-have for any ECE.
