Great helmet, huge head
I have a huge head, let's just start there. This is the third helmet in successive sizes that I've ordered and I finally hit the jackpot. The modular design makes it easier to don the helmet, glasses and all and then close the front latch. making it a much more enjoyable experience than the full face helmets I've worn before. The padding is excellent and I'm loving the clear front visor with drop-down internal smoked lens. I did end up adding an aftermarket quick release chin strap buckle, because who actually likes d-rings?! Overall, I'm loving the feel and design of this helmet!

One Size Bigger
After reading reviews, I seen alot of comments saying they run small for their size. That is correct! I have an older HJC SY-MAX 2 Medium helmet that fits perfect. I still took the advice from others and ordered a Large. I’m so glad I did. It fits perfectly. So avoid a return like I did and order one size up.

Runs too small!
No problem with Amazon or the seller but HJC needs to re-evaluate their sizing recommendations. I ordered a L based on measurement according to their size chart, even going up one size, it was still so small I couldn't get it on! Unfortunately, XL was not available.

The size chart is incorrect
I ordered one to true size, I even contacted the seller to make sure I ordered the correct size. I really needed a new helmet, and was excited to get this one. It's so small, I can't get it on my head! My older hjc helmet is a xl and fits perfect. Amazon couldn't exchange it for a different size, I have to return it then reorder a different size. What an inconvenience! Others have said to order the next size up, and they are correct. What a huge inconvenience

Runs SUPER small
I usually wear a large, sometimes an XL with a bit of wiggle room. But my friend warned me that his helmet ran a bit small so I ordered an XXL. I can barely squeeze my head in! Any more than a few minutes in thin and I would be in serious discomfort. I can't speak to the safety or quality of this item as it is unwearable. Maybe if I were to order a 4X it would work but as is it's a hard pass.
