CT SoundsBIO-6-5- 6.5 Inch Coaxial Car Speakers, 120 Watts Max, Pair

If you're looking for realistic sound without super high volume capability for a low price, you'll be hard pressed to find a better product than this one. This is my first purchase from CT Sounds, but I doubt it'll be my last. I'm running these from a Sony MEX-XB100BT head unit, which pushes 40W RMS per channel, and you do get significant cone breakup when you push them too hard; the 30W per channel power rating sounds about right to me. Bass output isn't great, but they sound really good down to the 80 Hz High Pass Filter I'm running. If you want bass, you should really consider a subwoofer. The speaker terminals are pretty flimsy, but the rest of the construction looks pretty good, and I imagine they'll last a long time as long as you don't thrash them.These are great for rear fill or for an upgrade over stock speakers, and if you want clarity for talk or for music, they're a fantastic bargain.

Speakers sounded great for the money but unfortunately didn't fit in my old Acura CL. I had to order a smaller size in a different brand. Wish I could e kept these as the RMS output was perfectly matched to my aftermarket radios RMS output. The 5.25s in the same brand only came in a component set. ☹️

First of all, the box had nothing in it I thought it was a joke - but then I realized it was a joke - of a product once I installed them. The waste of time installing these (with no help from CT not even a funky a$$ screw) is not worth the potential savings difference when buying a reputable brand like JL or MB Quart

I've had these installed for a couple of months now and can confidently say they are awesome. I had a difficult time finding some decent 2-ways with good build quality, since most manufacturers seem hell-bent on selling 4-way+ monstrosities that look like a spaceship and sound like crap. I finally came across these. I installed these in a six-speaker system Nissan Frontier crew cab truck with the companion 6x9s from CT Sounds (also very excellent) and a couple of dash tweeters. All connections were soldered. Running off of a kenwood excelon unit. The sound is rich and full. The bass and mids are tight but not pinched. These really rounded out my system and I couldn't be more pleased. The build is good so I expect them to last a long time too.

Great speakers for the price. I needed to replace the rear speakers in my truck and heard good things about this company so I figured I’d give them a try. Very happy with the quality and sound of the speakers. Will definitely purchase another set for the front doors of the truck
