Very informative
I really enjoyed the book. Although it's a book about poop it was well written and informative.

much needed
This discussion is much needed in our society with processed foods and little emphasis on health prevention. Appreciate their insights.

Informative, thought provoking, humorous, a fantastic book in short.
I heard a speech by Dr. Hazan recently and was so impressed with her intelligence and wit, I bought her book. As a physician I found a fascinating stimulus to rethink some disease paradigms. It’s an informative, thought provoking, and humorous book. It made me hope that one or two of the world’s billionaires at least will read it and seek to fund some of Dr. Hazan’s research and some of the subjects she suggested researching.

Highly recommend!
Excellent book that all doctors (regardless of expertise) should read. I’m very grateful forDr. Hazan, her extensive research and all that she shares within this book. This is the type of medical book you want to keep reading - holds your attention, full of knowledge, and has splashes of humor throughout.

Excellent book with so much knowledge
I enjoyed this book so much. Insightful and informative giving the reader an understanding of how the microbiome affects all aspects of health and well-being. Dr. Hazan is leading the way to finding cures through in-depth research and understanding the gut microbiome. I’m looking forward to her next book and all of her findings from her most recent research with Autism and Parkinson’s and the microbiome’s involvement. Great doctors still exist and they are doing incredible things! Thank you, Dr. Hazan and your team at ProgenaBiome.

Interessante Informationen aber der bemüht humorige Ton nervt
Für absolute Einsteiger in das Thema einigermaßen geeignet. Ansonsten aber sehr oberflächlich und der flapsige Ton soll wohl lustig sein, ist es aber nicht.

Good start!
I thought she would give us a basic guideline for improving our gut. Maybe, the next time! I wish her all the luck with her insights, although the medical cartel, aka the FDA, wouldn't be too enthusiastic about it as they are with the big pharma.

okay as an overview of some current research
It's a quick intro to the area, and has info on the role of fermented foods in health which is refreshing, but like many books in this field intended for the lay person, if you're after in-depth understanding you need to go onto reading the research literature.
