Where on the game gear does these cables plug into?

This cable is only for Nintendo consoles. The brand is called "gam3gear" , it will not plug into a game gear system.

Is there any kind of adapter that can be bought if your hdtv does not have a s-video spot?

Best option is to find another tv if its an hdtv to make sure it has s video if not just get a crt cuz most crts during the late 90s and early 2000s as most of them have s video and generally speaking all games look better on a crt tv anyways as all those games where made with crt televisions

Is this compatible with a female connector port such as Tendak?

I believe that works the opposite of what you may think. A Tendak device converts newer HDMI devices to an older RCA output. This will not work if you're attempting to convert RCA to HDMI.

Will this work on the japanese super famicom? i dont recall if the rear connector is universal.

Yes it will work on Japanese Super Famicom but your TV has to get the S-video input
