Perfect pencil
I made this portrait using only the EE shade of staedtler mars lumograph and I really loved how this one shade is enough if you know the proper technique. It is dark, doesn't break much and unique. Artist grade pencil. But beginners can start using it to start learning the correct way from the very beginning. Totally recommended.
