Doesn’t stay on your car with minor wind blowing.The thin little cord does not tie down the cover adequately, and it is difficult to apply. The cord has to go under the car, and over to the opposite side, which is difficult to do.

I will update on how long this lasts. So far several months of straight Florida sun, it's the best yet.

I wish I could give a review without stars -- this is really just to add data re: sizing.Decent cover, especially for the price, so I can't complain about the quality, shipping, etc. But, for those comparing and trying to decide, it is about 10% too small, at least, for a Mk7 GTI. Wouldn't stay on, blew off (and caught up against my fence, or it'd be gone) the first night I had it on, with no particularly strong breeze to cause it.Guess I'll go back to fighting pollen and sap. Or get a custom-fit proper cover for more money. I would have sent it back, but, you know, plague and all and not worth the hassle. I'll add grommets and tie on 5-gal buckets or something... or just give it to a friend with a smaller car.If you are going to park your GTI inside a garage, or have a smaller car, this would be just fine, of course.

After spending a fortune on car washes and countless hours scrubbing tree sap and hard water marks off my windshield almost daily, this car cover is a dream. Auto Zone told me the only car covee they carry for my 2008 Prius was $200 and they didn’t stock it, so I’d have to wait up to 10 business days to even get it. The Duck Cover fits my car like a glove, is easy to get on and off, and protects my car from the trees I park under every day. It stores easily on my trunk. As for how long it will last I can’t say yet but compared to the $200 car cover at Auto Zone, I could buy 4 of these before it even began to even out price wise. I could see how some people may think it’s strange to love a car cover this much, but I do. I love you my little Duck Cover, best purchase ever.

This cover fits my 2005 Scion XA just like a custom cover! The inside material is soft and protects the finish. The shock cords sewn into the front and rear of the cover snug it under the bumpers. I added lightweight aluminum carabiners to the line under the car to make it quick and easy to throw the line under the car and hook it to the eye in the cover. The line is supplied. Also added a carabiner to the rear where they have a handy strap and this snaps the strap to my trailer hitch. No hitch -- plenty of places under the car to hook to!I remove the cover by folding it in 18" folds evenly from the front and rear toward the center. Then fold in thirds and remove. To put back on, simply place on top and unroll again. I would highly recommend this product.

This would get five stars if there was a "medium" size. My car is 2" above the small version, (163") so I went with the big one. When the wind picks up, it'll fill up with wind/dust. I tried to tie it down using the grommets - it turns out, there's only 2 grommets. One on each side. It looks like they expect you to throw a rope under the car to tie it down. I used some rare earth bar magnets to pin it to the undercarriage to reduce the billowing.  CMS Magnetics Grade N45 Rectangular Bar Neodymium Magnets 1/4x1/2x3 Inches, South Pole with 2 #6 Counter Sunk Holes - Pack of 2  Those guys are probably overkill, but they definitely do the job.
