Okay so far I’ll say I like it updated after 3 weeks update 4/27/25
UpDate 4/27/25: well my band ended up breaking and I lost my little shock box. I used this so much so long I got used to it I wouldn’t wake up from full power shock max settings I moved it around both arms an even my ankles. I was either sleep through it or just take it off just about 2 months after having it I was so sad I really wanted this to be my solution.UPDATE 2/27/23: so after 3 weeks or so I’ve charged it like 1 time every 3 days so I worked with the app some more and found how to fix an alarm to still shock even if I turn off the alarm it’s smart alarm option and if you don’t move around a lot within 30 mins it will shock you I like that. This thing does get me up but I had to set it at like 60 70% power. I have also been taking it off but by the time I get it off so it don’t shock me and I get the alarm off im awake. Over all so far this works like a charm. I had to figure some stuff out and set it up how I needed it. Only thing I don’t like is, sometimes it will disconnect from my phone. It’s sometimes not easy getting it repaired. I’m not sure how I can fix that part, but l will keep working with it. That’s my biggest issue other than this thing really does wake me up. At first I sat like 15 alarms starting an hour before I needed up, cause that’s how it’s always been. If I need up at 7, I set alarms at 550 then every 5 mins after and usually still late. Not this one, now I have the right settings. I want up at 7 I set the alarm for 659 so, by the time I’m getting up trying to get this thing off it’s 7am and I’m up. At 3 weeks I’ll say it works, you just have to find the right shock for you. I suggest at least 50 or 60 if your a very heavy sleeper. I start mine at 60 with 2 zaps if that don’t work 8 mins later I get 2 zaps at 70 and I’m up.! that’s plenty for me usually, I’m up at 60% but I alway still like that just in case! I’ve used bed shaker, surround sound speakers, and bluetooth my iPhone alarm (the loud siren alarm) to the speaker setup NO, my husband shaking me yelling my name, my brother throwing stuff at my face, flipping mattresses up and shaking, nothing even though theyd say I would take to them tell them I’m up but never remember it. If your hard to get up or be woken up this will help. I give it 5 stars and if I change my opinion I’ll come back and update again. I’m super happy tho so far so good!!I like it so far just got it last night charged it and wore it to bed so I haven’t found out how to make it make noise or maybe it don’t not sure but I know it does shock you I was awoke from being shocked at about 4 mins after the alarm started going off and I know it shocked me about 3 times that I felt before waking up so I have mine on 40% now and it did wake me up im going to put it on 50% tonight it is a small shock in just one tiny area I still haven’t learned everything yet but I can tell you im a very heavy sleeper I can sleep threw 2 hours of alarms set to go off every 5 mins with ease my husband has to shake me and yell waking the kids and everyone up and then I still don’t get up for about an hour once he starts yelling I don’t hear it or don’t remember it not sure but I know it did wake me up and I was very surprised but I hit snooze 1 time and it got me and then I just hit stop and went back to sleep so I’m going to have to change that part so I can’t keep doing that.

great idea, but device is said to defective and No support to help
2019-10-10: Update now the shocking intensity is null.I was totally ripped off. If I could give zero stars I would. The very thing they claim and their main feature (the shock) dies in timeTwo main issues:first, the electric intensity to wake up will DRASTICALLY drop fairly quickly. Attempts to reach Pavlok will get responses... But promises will be holllow... Empty even... I've done the resets and tested the device but the issue persisted. Attempts to get help were initially quick and provided some software suggestions.. But when those didn't work I was told they would look for firmware updates to fix the issue. I've never noticed an update that addressed the intensity issue..Second, the mesh band is defective which is an issue pavlok is keenly aware of ... I was promised a silicon version to hold me over... Again lots of talk with little action... re silicon band was 'ordered' but I won't receive for at least a month... So in the meantime I can't wear nor use this device I paid hundreds of dollars.Pavlok has made many promises and delivered on none. Their staff is friendly but this isn't acceptable. The device is not cheap and if defective should be replaced within a reasonable amount of time not months. I shouldn't have to follow up on a schedule to make sure I'm delivered promised replacements. The concept is great but the device isn't reliable and support isn't able to execute within a reasonable timeframe.I wouldn't recommend the product. People at pavlok seem nice but there is a massive disconnect or communication failures. You can't admit you are aware of failures and not deliver to fix previous issues for something that costs this much money. This isn't a 20 or 50 dollar device. This was originally 139... For that price it needs to work as described. And if it doesn't it should be replaced

Good product, poor app
Critical view:First, the last of user manual is frustrating. I don’t even know there is a button. Doesn’t seem double tapping is doing anything.[edit: the app has been updated and it works now] Second, I’m using iphone SE. The Pavlok 2 app works fine, but it keeps sending me a notice saying Pavlok 2 is going to get shutdown, and that notice prevents me from using the app unless I reboot my phone. However, Pavlok 3 app is horrible, timer doesn’t work, UI is confusing… I see that Pavlok 3 is supposed to add additional functions, and some of them works, but the main function don’t work as good as the old app which is going to be shutdown.Third, the battery is small and cannot be powered off. For me, I don’t use it very often. But when I stop all alarms, it still drains the battery fast and I need to recharge it before I want to use it again. Not very convenient.Fourth, there has been a time when I use it daily, and it was hot, my wrist sweats. The sweat and it’s metal plates have chemical reaction that irritates my skin after some weeks.Pros:— I personally think the sizes and rubbery bands looks great, not poor-looking, but it’s just my taste of flavor. From the look doesn’t seem like poor quality, but that’s just the look and its real quality still need time to test. Nevertheless I handle it with care as if it’s a low quality product so that I try not to break it.— It does its job, zaps, vibrates and beeps, and you can set zapping strength, vibration etc at different levels, repeat at different intervals. The hardware can do anything but it depends on their app design what you can do.— i was concerned about how fast the quality degraded when I found out zapped much weaker than the day before. Turns out that it very depends on the moisture on your skin. You will feel the zap much stronger when your skin has some moisture. (As long as it’s not dry it’s enough, don’t completely wet your skin)
