This holds all my coolina knives and looks great on the counter

Was very surprised at how large this is. It can easily fit 8 knives on the inside and another 8 on the outside. The quality is very fine, with well crafted woodwork. The magnetic strength is solid and I was worried about putting my professional grade knives in this and having them properly adhere to the sides, but the magnetism is strong without making it impossible to remove the knives. It is a little top heavy, which means if you fill this with knives and push them perpendicular, there is a small risk of the holder tipping. The base is wider at the bottom which augments some of this. Additionally, the finish on this isn’t perfect and when I received the item, there were some blotchy areas. I ended up wiping the base down with warm water and diluted soap before wiping down again with olive oil, which helped remove the splotches and bring the grain out. It is a very beautiful knife stand and I’m incredibly happy with the purchase. I like how the knives release easily when pulling up and when putting them into the rack, the magnet nicely pulls the blade to the rack. I do worry a little about longevity with some of the sharper knives potentially scratching the wood surface over time.

The wood on the sides cracked after a few months. I contacted them and they immediately sent a replacement. I love my knife block.

Reviewed in Jerusalem, Israel after five months of easily installing and using the magnetic block successfully. Mine holds 11 knives, 1 kitchen scissors, 4 can & bottle openers,12 other gadgets and still there is room for more.The adhesion on the interior and the exterior of the two large sides is superb. Only on the extremes of the large sides and on the two small sides there is no magnetic force. There I affixed a few small screws to hold non iron gadgets.This magnetic block is sturdy and nice looking. It takes a very small space to hold a lot of things. I keep it about an inch from the wall and just tilt it to grab a gadget on the back. I highly recommend it ,specially for small kitchens. It's a great value for the money you pay.

Has a great magnet to hold knifes in place in the interior. I have put smaller paring knifes on the outside and they even stay in place. It's wonderful. I love it.

First thing I noticed was that out of the box the wood was cracked straight through to the magnet. The wood had been water-logged resulting in rot. Second thing was that one of the soft footers was missing - It only had three (This are the little pads that make the wood not scratch your counter). Final straw was the actual functionality of it. The knives don't stick straight, they move sideways and hit the other knives. I have bought hundreds of products on Amazon and although this is not the first crappy product, its the first one that is SO bad im actually going to take time to return it. Its like a joke its sooo bad.

This is a fairly pricey "magnetic knife holder" so I was expecting it to be of superb quality. I love the look and feel, the space saving slim design is exactly what I wanted - However, the magnet is not strong - inside have very minimal holding power. The outside has slightly higher grip but they still slide down hitting other knives and damaging the blade. The two ends are not magnetic and the bottom half all the way around is not magnetic. So you can not invert this and try to use it in any other direction. I am disappointed and will be returning.

Excellent product. The wood was a little dry when it arrived and used some boos. Doesn’t work with pairing knives I have as they are too top heavy. Strong Magnets .. the inner ring is a great addition - comes with extra pair of feet.

I have to applaud the company that makes this, it’s very attractive for the price and no garish, nonsense logo. Tapered in all three planes in a balanced manner, it’s actually very elegant design for something on Amazon at this price.It works well, even with small paring knives, despite what others seem to say. I see some reviews with ***CRACKS*** but they have not protected the block!!! You can see their block is extremely dry and subject to massive humidity swings in a kitchen. You MUST oil it; use some butcher block oil and it will look wonderful and last. Besides, Resafy have a 1 year guarantee.. so just contact them if something is wrong, or Amazon..Very happy with this purchase.

Smaller knives like paring knifes / steak knives are to short to contact the magnet fully so they slide around, bunch up and fall off inevitably. Fine for larger knives just wish I could have kept the paring knife with its set. 4 stars because it's a well made product and maybe I should have known small knives wouldn't work with it? Not sure.

Looks great. Can put knives on four sides, two inner and two outer surfaces. We have both light and dark wood in out kitchen and this block fits in nicely.

This product looks very nice and sleek on our counter. Happy with the quality. Would recommend this knife block and like that it is wood so less damaging to the blades
