Decent product for the price if you are buying a first monitor
I've had the product for 12 months now and have worked with it frequently. I'm a commission artist, and was finally able to upgrade from a Monoprice 8x10 tablet to a larger tablet monitor.Pros:- easy installation. I've worked with Huion drivers before and had no issue setting this up after making sure I found the right drivers on the website.- works well with multiple programs. I frequently use Photoshop CS6/CC, Clip Studio Paint, and Sai, and the tablet works well with them all! After the initial set up, I've had no issues of a program not responding to the tablet.- easily customizable buttons. The hot buttons on the left side can be reprogrammed easily to whatever shortcuts you need, as well as the pen buttons.- minimal latency. exactly what it saysCons:- the physical set up was a bit difficult, especially the stand connecting to the back of the monitor. The 4 screws were not in a position easy to put in and I had to use my hands to do it since a screwdriver wouldn't fit.- color. I've had a lot of issues with inconsistencies with color matching on this monitor to my LED monitor. Adjusting it has not helped.- while trying to adjust the color on my monitor, there is an option that says "Reset". I thought that would reset the screen to its default settings. It didn't, but actually set the entire menu into Japanese. This is a problem because there's no discernible way to change it back to English.- there is a noticeable lag when using CSP, though this is likely a processor issue on my end, but wanted to note it for others who need there to be no lag.Overall, it's a great product for the money. Just the majority of my issues are with the color settings and menu.

Good and inexpensive table
I would have given this a 5 but for one thing which I'll get to in a moment. As for the product itself, I really do like it. I've several of the standard tablets from Huion and like them all but wanted this sort which operates in the same fashion as a Wacom Cintiq. I've had a Cintiq and so can make the comparison. So far as I can tell it is not in any way inferior to the Cintiq and in fact it's easier to set up the calibration. Obviously, it's much less costly. Why only four stars?I wanted the HD version and thought that was what I'd purchased, but received the SD instead. Huion told me they had discontinued the HD version and only the SD was now available. I might have waited if I'd known it was coming out soon as evidently it has because they are selling it again on the Huion site. This one is fine other than the fact that the screen definition is less than the HD tablet. I works the same, uses the same software, and it's system is the same. Not much difference. The HD also has controls on the right and left. I'm ambidextrous when I draw, so was looking for that as well. Oh Well!!!!

Adequate, useable, but a step down from the previous GT185 incarnation
I had owned an older GT-185 for several years and loved it. Gave it away a while ago and regretted it, so I thought I'd replace it. Clearly didn't pay enough attention to the listing and came to realize upon receiving the new one that this one is STANDARD DEFINITION. My old one was 1080p high def and gorgeous, but apparently the HD version is discontinued?? And replaced with a mediocre standard def version for the same price?? Ok.I'm sure this SD version would be absolutely fine if I hadn't already experienced the older version, I should make that clear. It's really not BAD at all - in fact it's a great entry-level tablet monitor to be sure - it's just that this resolution is hard to get used to coming from the HD version and I honestly don't think it's right that it has the same price point with such a major drop in picture quality. Don't really understand that move by Huion, but again that's my personal problem I guess. While the display is perfectly adequate for SD, it's just that...standard. Middle of the road. Other than that, though, the colors are nice, brightness could be better. The new pen is an improvement; feels comfy in the hand, more like a traditional Wacom pen, and works well. Pen sensitivity works fine. Drivers installed with no problem. Size of the screen is perfect, not too big, not too small - just goofy resolution.Really wish I could've left a more glowing review as I've owned several Huion products in the past and loved them, want to support the company etc... but I was truly disappointed with this one - although it's 100% my fault for not reading the description more thoroughly.

Good tablet, bad pen
The tablet is fine, but my pen litterally fell apart after i plugged it in. The female port inside the pen is loose, making it impossible to plug, the convenient bitton usage on the pen also broke. The button fell out, and after trying to attach the male piece, it completely broke the femLe piece inside the pen, so now i cant use the button feature.

the drivers are weird
at first it worked great its was awesome my disc player for my laptop was broke so i down loaded the websites driver. it was hard to find. after a year my cat broke my laptop so i got a new one, you must install the drivers while its not pluged in. now the monitor is on but the pen wont work ive reinstalled so many times to fix it it happens all the time.

Great Tablet, would definitely Recommend!! Large Size, Good Quality for Cheap!
It came in perfect condition. The extra pen, glove and cleaning cloth were a great additional gift, it arrived on time and had no dead pixels anywhere, It is a large size and drawing surface for much cheaper than a cintiq. I find the screen resolution to be equal to that of a cintiq though others have commented on it being a more pixelized on screen quality; i have used both and do not notice this whatsoever. I have also had it since July 18th and have yet to recharge the first of the two pens that came with it. The pens also come with caps so that's a pretty nice touch! All in all The Huion gt-185 tablet is a really great cintiq alternative and i wholeheartedly would and have recommended it to my friends and family!
