I have a handful of these for my outdoor animals. This product is the most durable, weather-resistant, low-maintenance, easy-to-clean option that I’ve used. Other products (namely the cutesy little wooden critter houses with shingle-like roofing) claim to keep your small friends protected from the elements, and some do for a year or so, but this is the only one that doesn’t rot or lose structural integrity after multiple years of use.And it’s made cleaning a breeze. The inside is smooth and non-porous, so you just pop the top off and hose it out. Sit it in the sun for a bit and it’s dry as a bone, ready to be refilled with bedding or bathing dust (depending on what animal/purpose you’re using it for).Like I said, I bought multiples… but never because one needed replacing.

Actually bought this for my stray cats so they’d have a place to hang out & be safe from the weather. Super easy to put together. Great quality & is sturdy. Thus far it has held up well through the rain.Marketed as a dog house, but is most definitely excellent as a cat house.

I purchased this for my stray cat I was amazed by the sturdiness of the product, the size was appropriate and the price was good. Yes I would recommend this item and purchased another if my cat is female and has kittens can’t wait to see

This little house is great for a couple or a few outdoor cats, maybe up to 3 can fit decently snuggling together inside if they're not that big, I insulated it with some silver foil insulation stuff that's 18" wide but I made sure the entire inside is covered with the insulation and I might double the insulation soon potentially and I put a small blue tarp from Harbor Freight covering the entire bottom and I just put the top over the bottom but I insulated the entire inside including inside the top half as others have done here on Amazon and Youtube and their videos and reviews helped me a lot but there's a tarp just covering the bottom half basically In case they sneeze or have any accidents inside it will go on the tarp on the bottom half which will be much easier to clean then the insulation that I installed which should help but these little Barn Homes are pretty awesome for small dogs or cats but it would be a great idea to insulate them to help keep your pets warmer in the winter especially but even potentially cooler in the summer as well I believe but especially to help keep them warmer at night in the winters and I like this house so much I might even later on get the one size slightly bigger that's actually $2 cheaper which is strange but this one is a great size for small dogs or cats, it's not very tall so it fits nicely in small spaces and it seems to be built well but the top and bottom don't really go together very firmly which is basically one of my only criticisms of it because if you try to pick it up just grabbing the top half it will literally come apart and I wished they would have some kind of better insulation built in already but they don't really do that for almost all animal houses it appears unless you pay for a much more expensive kitty tube it appears so because of the fact that it doesn't really stay together and it doesn't really come with very good insulation really I'm going to give it 4 stars out of 5 but I still recommend it for sure.

This pet house is very sturdy. It is easy to assemble but the top does not quite lock onto the bottom. Also the inside gets wet when it rains. I covered the floor of the pet house with egg crate, then added straw. But the rain came in the door. I will have to figure out a way to modify the door. Overall it is a sturdy plastic outdoor pet house for strays.

I got this dog house for my mom’s dog. It stays cool in the summer, is sturdy, and it is warm at night

Works ok. I wouldn’t suggest for a permanent shelter. Top and bottom piece will not stay together. Even with the snaps on side

Easy to assemble, seems to be weather-proof. Using for a neighborhood feral cat who does go in it on our porch. Should be good shelter for him.

I’m really impressed with this product. It came quickly and was extremely easy to assemble. Nice and sturdy as well. I added some hay and put it outside for our feral cat to use. She really enjoys it! I’m happy she has shelter from the cold now

Perfect outdoor pet house. Very will made out of sturdy plastic. Vented to reduce interior condensation and wide entry awning to keep out the rain. Easy roof removal for occasional cleaning.
