Comfortable and Convenient Ear Protection
Very nice ear-protection for construction work. I use these at work all the time.If you are planning to wear them constantly for an entire day, I think that there are better options. They are not as comfortable as the ear-muff style or the type that you just push into your ear. If I wear these for SEVERAL DAYS in a row for most of the day, the light pressure from the band that holds the buds in your ear starts to get uncomfortable and I will switch to the ear-muff style. This style of ear protection shines because they are easy to keep up with and are very quick to take on and off. It is easy to take them off and hang them from my neck when not needed, and then I can quickly put them on when I have to make some saw cuts. You should also consider the season you are going to wear these in. In the summer, these are great because they are not hot and as heavy as the ear-muff style of ear protection. In the winter though, if you are outside wearing a face-mask or winter beanie, they will be slower to put in and take out.You will want some replacement ear buds if you plan to use these a lot in dirty environments. Mine came with one pair on the band and a replacement pair in the bag.

Great ear plugs
Love how it goes around the neck when not in use. When in use works great. Keeps the sound away.

Great product, works well
I first saw these used by Hickok45 on Youtube and he talked positively about them. I read some reviews online and saw both positive and negative comments. At such a cheap price, I got two and gave them a try. At first, I didn't think they were going to work very well. After some fiddling, I found they work pretty darn good. With my ears, they fit the best if the band starts on top of my head, I insert the plugs then rotate the band behind my head. PRESTO, perfect fit. Shooting the 9mm and 12ga out back was comfortable with no ringing afterward. Small and easy to transport, just throw in the range bag. Yet, they are big enough to keep around your neck out of the way without cutting into your neck. I had this problem with some AO Safety banded plugs similar to these. I can sit these Howard Leights down on the shooting bench without worrying about them getting dirty since the band is curved placing the plugs in the air. I highly recommend them to anybody needing banded hearing protection. Multiple vendors on Amazon provide these, but I chose this vendor because the plant my brother works at buys safety equipment from Armor all the time. They are very competitively priced. Placed the order on Sunday and had them on Wednesday, still smoking when I took them out of the box. Each pair I ordered came with a set of replacement plugs.

Couple small issues but overall great set of ear protection!
I got this pair of earpro as backups for when I go to the range with friends and they need something. They seem very sturdy and feel quite adequate. I really like the feel of them too. I have a rather large head and figured these would be super tight but they aren't. They seem to fit perfectly with just the right amount of pressure to plug your earholes. The part that goes into your ear feels very comfortable and makes a nice seal. I also really like that they come with a pair of replacement ear foam things. There are two issues, however. If you wear these Hickok45 style, the band rubs on the back of your neck and makes an annoying rubbing noise that you hear in your ears. Not that big a deal. Second issue is the pair I got have these weird white marks on them. Not sure what it is, but I'm pretty sure I got a "defective" set. It doesn't affect the function at all but still kind of weird. Other than that, it would've been 5 stars. Highly recommend for a backup pair of earpro, maybe even as your primary ears if you're on a budget.

Great ear protection for those wanting to wear hats
First, I have small ear canals (but big hands and feet), and these fit just fine. I don't think they are meant to go all the way in your ear canal like in-ear headphones, they are meant to protect your hearing from power tools and such. I used to wear the big and clunky ear protectors, but that made it impossible for me to wear my Stetson when I cut the grass or worked in the yard. Also, I was forever having to find the big ones because I couldn't keep them around my neck comfortably. These comfortable fit around your neck. In fact, I've come inside the house still wearing them on my neck a couple of times because I forgot they were there. Every time I spark up a power tool I automatically put them one (which I can do one-handed, and I am far from an agile person). It takes about 5 seconds to get them seated in your ear, and then you can get to work. My stetson fits just fine on my head, so overall I'm very pleased with these.I haven't taken them through a Summer yet, so I can't comment on how they'll stand up to sweat. But, the tips are replaceable, and after all this thing isn't a bank-breaker.

OK protection for $5
Ive seen quite a few people at the range using this kind of hearing protection, but when they came, the instructions said to wear them under your chin and not around the back of your head or neck like some may think... So when i go to the range it does take a minute or two to get the plugs adjusted so they will go in my ears when i put them around my neck and they fall down onto your shoulders, so if you're wearing a hooded coat, this can become very annoying. It is a good solution for now, better than those cheap ones you roll and stick in your ear, and very portable but i think i may just invest in a set of ear muffs next time...If i take the time to get them in right, it muffles out my .45 ACP just fine.
