Really Cool But Personally Not School Appropriate With Some Pages
Once I saw that this has the top three video games my students have been raving about since the beginning of the school year, I was immediately drawn to checking this book out! I will say this book is targeted for older kids like 5th grade and up in my opinion due to the difficulty level and content of the sketches (so maybe the completion certificate is unnecessary). The contents of the book are very clear and organized and the mini sketching 101 pointers were awesome. There are 20 different elements from each video game which I thought was a perfect amount. The only thing that started to throw me off was that there are a lot of weapons especially within the Fortnite and Roblox portions. I understand it’s a video game where fighting is involved but half of the Fortnite sections (10 sketches) is about guns and bombs which as a teacher, I cannot use for my classroom unless I rip those pages out which in the end, you’re losing what you paid for. There were only two-character sketches which I wished there were a few more of and the rest were building supplies which I thought were still a good addition. With Roblox, it’s not as many weapons since a majority of this section were cool detailed illustrations of the characters but there were a few guns and grenade related drawings which again, as a teacher purchasing this with the intention for my students, a few of those pages will have to be removed to be school- appropriate. The only reason why I continue this topic is Minecraft had no weapon-related page, and I am aware that they do have them in the game. So maybe next time, when Infinite Kids Press creates another, may there be an option to where it may be a bit more school-friendly? One final thing to add about the book is that the instructions are clear. The only thing I wish they added was more details to what they meant about adding details to a sketch-like including some of the sketching 101 terms they explained at the beginning of the book. Overall, this book is of great quality of durability, print, direction, and fun. Educators will just have to determine if this book is considered school-appropriate for them.

Great How To Draw book for advanced artists or early teens!
This activity book was FULL of different items/characters found in Minecraft, Roblox, & Fortnite. Although the book has great content, my oldest boy (10) was hoping for a little simpler drawing tutorial. I think this How To Draw book is great for advanced artists or even early teens.

Perfect combination for my son who loves to sketch and is a huge Minecraft and Roblox fan
My son just got a set of sketching pencils and shading tools for his birthday and when I presented this to him he was so excited! He enjoys doing freehand sketches and this book gave tips regarding which pencils, how to shade and step by step instructions to improve his skills and with his favorite characters and accessories. Very worthwhile purchase especially when wanting to get kiddos off the screens.

Varying degrees of challenge for a how-to draw book
This book has a lot of items to draw related to Minecrafter, Roblox, and Fortnite. So with that in mind, there are a lot of weapons. There is a very quick tutorial of information on types of pencils, how to hold a pencil, and drawing technique. Then you dive right into drawing. Every picture has 5 steps to get to the final drawing on the left side of the page, and you have nearly the full page on the right to try drawing the picture. This book is meant to be for pencil drawing only. Color is if you'd like, but I think this book is great for the older child who may be a more serious artist interested in learning pencil shading, etc.

A good variety of things to draw
This book has a great variety of things to draw. I thought it was just going to be drawing people, but it also includes accessories and animals from the games too. Each instructional page gives you a blank page next to it that you can use to draw on. This is great so you can reference the instructions easily as you go.One of the other features I liked is the Techniques page. The book gives you tops on how to hole your pencil along with the different shading and sketching techniques to create different textures. All in all I think this is a great instructional drawing book!

Very organized and detailed
My daughter is nine, and loved this book. Although Fortnite is not her game, she is completely into the Minecraft part. The beginning is really nice to show her what she needs, and liked the table of contents so she could easily go to the section she wants, sees what she could draw and where it is. The award certificate at the end is always a nice touch. It is well organized, and very nicely done overall.

Great activity!
We love this book! My kids really enjoy Minecraft, but I prefer if we don't spend all day on the computer. Having some Minecraft themed activities that are not digital is a lifesaver. I also really enjoy seeing my kids bring out their creative sides. They are eager to get drawing and even make their own creative edits as they get better.

Trendy gift for your gamer!
With the popularity of Fortnite, Minecraft, and Roblox right now this book will be a winner with your kiddos! Our favorite feature of the book is the adjacent blank pages so that our kids can try drawing directly on the book instead of wasting paper. The instructions are step by step and easy to follow. Drawings end up looking very professional and exactly like the characters from the games.

Better than I thought
Brilliant book. So much better than I thought. I was expecting a smaller book but the book is a decent size. And is a lot thicker than I thought, Has lots of different pages. Step by step drawings bought it for an 8 year old and I am very pleased as I am sure he will be. Would recommend
