Solid entertaining young adult tale
I greatly enjoyed "Warehouse". The central premise, of a refuge for young people on the run, the rules and hierarchies that develop to govern it, and the outside forces which conspire to regain control, are all convincingly portrayed. But it is the characters at the heart of the story which bring it to life. A really good read - recommended.

Great read for adults and teenagers
Well I am a bit bias as I worked and socialised with Keith for many years, knew him in his very early writing days. I have managed to keep up with his books over the years and must say this is a fantastic book, very descriptive and detailed when it comes to the characters. It is for older teenagers but I do feel that it is a great read for adults as are alot of his books. If this is the first of his books that you read and you enjoy it read more, he is great!

Can you read it? Of course you can!
A seriously good read! An extremely gritty story set in the north of England, 'Warehouse' follows the lives of a group of teenagers whose lives become inexorably intertwined. It's got all the elements of a good story - drama, romance, comedy - all in nice, equal measure, with some cracking dialogue and description. The use of stark urban backgrounds helps to make the characters seem more real. It's a book you can easily get sucked into.

a very powerful read
this is a fast-paced, gripping, convincing ang moving story once you've finished reading this book, every little thing fits in to place making other things make more sense (if that made any sense??!!). this book is a honest, funny, thoughtful and quite dangerous read. i'm sure many of these situations are true to life, and when you read this you feel quite close to the characters who tell you their story. i couldnt put this book down as it grips you from the very first page! the only thing i have to say that isnt good about this book is that their isnt a sequel. whatever type of books your into this is one that everybody should have. as it includes just about every emotion possible- love, sadness, humour, terror, power and much more.

warehouse - cleverly written
This book is like a giant jigsaw puzzle. We are told four stories, each in turn telling different events about one particular character. It's only when you've read all four sections of the novel that you can get an clear idea of what happens at the warehouse. It's very interesting, and a whole new way to present the story. An enjoyable read, well recommended.
