Waste of money
Don’t bother- the setter is very short and both the setter and anvil are made of lightweight aluminum, so it takes a huge amount of effort (i.e. lots of banging with a mallet) to try to set snaps with this tool.

Make sure you use for thicker fabric, or it wouldn't work.
I used this (first time using this heavy weight snaps) on my fabric bag (over 2 layers of thin denim & 2 layers 1 layer of quilting cotton). I wasted 2 sets, hamering like crazy, still wouldn't stay put. So i gave up & go back to the thinner plastic snaps I have. My conclusion, this works for heavier fabric. Material is really solid & nice.

Great value!
Easy set to use as everything is included. There are a lot of videos on youtube to show you how to use this set if you aren't sure. It's quick and easy, just take your time and you can fix just about anything.

Worked to fix broken boat canopy snaps !
The product worked well to repair broken snaps and they appear to be holding up very well. A bit tricky to install as you need a hard metal surface and hammer to fold down the snaps well. With a bit of practice, they were easy to install.
