Die Halskrause ist super, unser Hund kann damit bequem liegen und trinken, zum fressen kann man sie einfach durch die Klettverschlüsse öffnen und nach hinten klappen. Durch die festen Verstärkungen die man aber auch raus nehmen kann, hat unser Hund auch nicht die Möglichkeit sich am Tisch, Schrank oder sonst wo zu kratzen!Eine super geniale Alternative zur einem steifen Plastikkragen!

I got this for my dog to wear whilst recovering from surgery on his ear haematoma. I knew he would hate the normal stiff clear plastic cones you get at the vet.He wears the cone at night to sleep in so his ear is getting air. He seems comfortable especially as the cone is padded and I chose the black colour so it's nice and dark for him. It's not heavy and once he got used to the feeling of it he can move around easily and even jump on the sofa.The material is easy to wipe down with wet wipes to clear up anything like drool or wound fluid. The spines which hold the cone shape can be taken out so it can be properly washed which I'll be doing soon as well.The softer design means that when you dog is getting used to wearing the cone and they catch it on things or people it doesn't hurt the dog or you.My dog doesn't wear this outside but I think the reflective trim on the edge is a great idea for dogs who do wear this out, especially on the black design.The only minor negative is the velcro is pretty loud when pulling it apart and some dogs won't like this. For mine, it's his cue to try and shake his head or scratch his ear but I've learnt to be ready for this. It's not nice for him for a moment with the noise but it's very secure when fastened and an extra bit of velcro is even given to stop any exposed bits getting stuck to blankets and such which is a lovely additional and thoughtful touch.I have hand fed him in the cone several times, like you would a horse with your hand flat and him stood up and given him water from his travel bottle with a trough (advice: get the dog to stand and look down to drink or you'll flood the cone). The material is waterproof so I wipe it with a tissue to get any drips after.I have no concerns about the cone staying on as it as loops to attach to the dog's collar.I don't keep him in it 24/7 as he wouldn't eat from his food or drink from his bowl when he wishes but he sleeps overnight in the cone and spends part of each morning and afternoon in it napping or laying on the sofa being spoilt with attention and treats to make up for the ear pain.I am so glad I decided to buy this. My dog is comfortable wearing it and his ear is protected from attempts to scratch it or rub it on people or things. The wound gets air which for an open wound like a post surgery ear haematoma is fantastic.

Avevo acquistato un classico collare elisabettiano, di plastica rigida, perché solo con questo potevo evitare al mio cane la soluzione estrema di amputargli la coda per un problema alla base di questa che richiede una costante medicazione con relativo bendaggio ma la notte, o quando si trovava solo, si toglieva tutto aggravando sempre più la situazione ma, con quel collare rigido, fin dai primi minuti che l'aveva indosso è stato chiaro che non poteva andare. Il veterinario mi ha suggerito di acquistare questo vista la morbidezza ma sufficientemente rigido, non fa rumore quando sbatte in qualche posto, e non è particolarmente pesante. Quando è arrivato l'ha portato per quattro giorni consecutivi permettendo alle cure di fare effetto, ora glielo metto solo la notte o quando rimane solo e, continuando così, il veterinario mi ha detto che potremmo evitargli l'intervento. Perfetto! L'unica difficoltà è stata individuare la taglia giusta ma, grazie alle recensioni, ho trovato quella giusta.

Collerette très douce et très légère !

It always sucks having to put your fur-baby in one of these things. Our 15 month old Golden Retriever HATES the plastic cones so much, that we knew after his recent neutering, we would have to find something better. The Comfy Cone is definitely more comfortable; he can use it as a pillow, and once he figured out that he can lay down with it on, he became much more relaxed. The fabric flipping makes it somewhat better, but it’s not that exciting of a feature -he hasn’t figured out how to eat or drink in it, even with it flipped. We are only keeping him in it for when we can’t be supervising him, he hasn’t been toooo interested in his “area” yet, and we just don't feel that it is necessary to be in the cone constantly. This is great for those times when we can’t be monitoring him, like when we’re sleeping, or showering, or whatever. We can’t wait for this to be over, but are very grateful that we found this cone-it is worth the money!Update: he has figured out how to eat/drink in his cone, and I now think the “flip feature” is better than I first realized. He has 5 more days in his cone, and he is getting used to it. This cone has been amazing.
