This Saved My Crape Myrtles
I put this on all my crape myrtles and they are doing so much better. They had bark scale and black soot. I scrubbed the soot off and poured this around the base. I will apply this every year. They look happy now!

I hope it will save my trees
My Ash and Elm trees get so many bugs in them. I buy this to try to keep them at bay. It's easy to mix with water in a bucket and pour around the trees. I can usually douse three trees with one gallon of this. The circumference of the tree trunk determines how much of the liquid you use. Very easy and will hopefully save my trees. I've purchase 3 gallons of this.

Worked after 1 month for mealybugs (as far as I can tell)
The timeframe on the bottle for it to work is 1 week - 3 months, and for me it took about a month to see any results. I applied in early May and have just begun to see the population of mealybugs on my crepe myrtle tree thin. It’s a very big tree (about 2 stories) so I used the whole bottle, diluting as directed. The mealybugs infestation was very severe, with literally thousands of bugs coating the tree and roots. The reason I say “as far as I know” is that I was taking other measures to the surface of the tree while waiting for the Fertilome to take effect. I would hose the bugs out of the tree each day, and in the last week of May and first of June I would use generic dish soap (after hosing the bugs down onto the ground, I’d coat the soil on top of/around them as well as the trunk and any branches I could reach with store bought dish soap - like generic Dawn). I would spray a little water after to make a lather, and could see this helping to cull the population somewhat. There were still just so many hatching anew each day, but this past week (first week of June) I’ve finally noticed the bugs meaningfully decrease. There are maybe 20-30 insects visible these days with fewer each day, and I haven’t needed to soap and rinse.I’d recommend a combination of this product with the hose and dish soap strategy, and patience as this did take a month to show results on a large tree. 👍

Be patient, it works
Some of my Green Giant Arborvitae suffered damage from a heavy snowfall, and the trunks had cracks in them. When this happens, the tree is in distress, and releases ethanol. The ethanol attracted borers/miners to the trees. Eventually, they would have killed the trees. So, I used this Fertilome as a systemic root drench. Pour the correct amount around the base of the trunk, and the roots suck it up into the tree, killing the bugs as they feed on the trunk. Unfortunately, it's an annual process until the tree completely heals. But, I will say this much. I can tell which trees are infected. The branches and leaves are drooping, and usually you will find holes in the trunk. Applied this in the spring. Within 2 weeks, the trees started perking up, and new growth was coming in quickly. This will be my 2nd year of this process, and none of the trees died. May take another application next year to rid the tree of the infestation. Much cheaper than replacing a 30' Green Giant Arborvitae Tree !!!!!

Have been using this for years on Cana Lillies
The issue on my Cana Lillies is the leaf roller bugs do a number on them every spring. And the solution is to treat the plants as they have just started growing but before the bugs have a chance to establish themselves. I've used this product for a few years and been pretty happy with the performance, adding about 16 oz. to a 2-gallon pail and then literally drenching the soil and inside the plants once they get about 12" in height. The mixture can be poured from a watering can (my preferred method) or with a pressure sprayer (which just takes a long time to really get the volume needed into the soil). I don't know of an alternative to this product and this large jug from Amazon is a good value compared to the little bottles I've been using from my local garden supply shop.In past summers, it has given good protection for a month or so before the leaf rollers show up again, but less aggressively. I treated a little heavier and earlier this year, so time will tell; I may also do a mid-summer drench for good measure.

The worked great for my Crepe Myrtle’s
This actually worked on my crepe Myrtle’s. I had tried every spray available on the market and nothing worked to keep the pests and scale off the trees and the trees were getting very sick. I used this as directed and it actually worked. I reordered to apply again the next year for good measure.
