The photo is a bit misleading. As of 2017-07-21, It looks like the package will come with 3 round brushes (size 0, 6, 10) and a size 8 "cat's tongue" brush, but it actually came with a size 10 bright (short flat) brush, which is ok, just not what I expected. I haven't tried the brushes yet but I assume it's top quality as usual from Da Vinci brushes.

I ordered these DaVinci series 5580 mini detail brushes for my projects and they are top quality I have to say! The bristles are vegan (a plus for me), short and pointy for exact detail placement, excellent grip with triangular body and well made overall. And with 5 different thin points from 10/0 to 0! Usual sets come thicker but I wanted even finer tips. They are pricy, mind you, but an ABSOLUTE investment if you wish to have one good mini brush set IMHO. I'm ecstatic about my buy and will repurchase if ever I have to without a hitch.

I got them today. The bristles are hard and because of that they are not easy to clean up and they do not absorbe water enough. I got the da vinchi casaneo a few days ago and it's such a great brush that these ones threw me off right away. Returning them.

I already have many good quality brushes, but when I saw this set is on sale, I made the order. I'm so happy that I did that. It's the best brush set I have ever had.first of all, the delivery is very fast. I made the order on Monday afternoon, and on Wednesday morning even before I went to work, the package was delivered.Then I tried the brush, the tips are very pointy and the brushes hold a good amount of paint even they are synthetic bristles. If I could get this set earlier, I would not waste money on those brushes which are not that good but expensive.

These brushes are the best I have ever used. They hold a generous load of pigment and water. They have a soft spring, that gives me fantastic control. The 08 pointed filbert has become my first choice. It gives me everything from soft washes, to a beautiful fine line from its pointed tip. This set is fantastic, and I have already added more. Very fairly priced. Gorgeous brushes.
