Initially I loved these glasses
DO NOT BUY THESE. Initially I loved these glasses. They gave me the bifocal affect that I needed. I had these for a month, and only wore them half that time, as I was on vacation. When I did wear them, it was only for dog walks, 2-3 times/day. So they did not get a lot of use. Today I took them out, opened them to wear them, and they broke. The hinge seems to be in tact, but the plastic broke off. I would not recommend them now. I have contacted both the seller and the manufacturer. NO RESPONSE from either. Poor customer service.

Awesome reading sunglasses
I love my samba bifocal sunglasses. I was finally making a decision to purchase prescription sunglasses so I can read a book on the beach or check my phone messages anytime I am outside on a sunny day. It is such a bother to pull out your phone and not be able to see it because you have on sunglasses. I wear bifocal glasses but my distant vision is almost 20/20. So I finally thought it's time for prescription sunglasses. I checked online and they were costing around $300 dollars. I was like "WOW." One evening I was searching items on Amazon and searched "bifocal sunglasses" and found these Samba shades for less than $30. They arrive very quickly and I have been wearing them every moment I am outside. I was at the lake with my adult daughters and I offered them a pair of sunglasses (I still had my 2 other pair in my purse) my daughter said I'll take the ones you are wearing. They are very stylish and comfortable I even wore them into work forgetting I had my sunglasses on. I would definitely recommend.

Read in the sunshine
I bought these glasses for my wife. She likes them for daily outdoor activities in the summer. For example, she went to the garden center today and enjoyed being able to read the plant care tags without having to change glasses. These glasses are very convenient and inexpensive. The frames are sturdy and attractive. The lenses also seem well made.I have noticed a couple of drawbacks though:- The lenses have a slightly blue tint. She would prefer neutral gray.- These glasses do not have spring-loaded hinges. My wife says that the frames are a little tight.Overall she likes the sunglasses.

Full Coverage!
Great shades! Great coverage, no sun peeking in and blinding me. So great to have when I'm a passenger in a car and it's bright out, but I need to check my phone. The only thing I miss is that the arms aren't spring-loaded, but It's not a deal-breaker for me, because the last pair of bifocal shades I owned didn't have springs either, and the arms never broke. These have a nice look to them as well, like Wayfarers.

Great Sunglasses
I am so happy with my Samba Shades bi-focal reading sunglasses! I go boating in the summer, and when I want to look at my phone while taking pictures, or hooking my phone up to music, I used to have to remove my sunglasses and put readers on to do that. Now, with the Samba sunglasses, I never have to take them off to read. Also, the size fit my face perfectly. I have a small face, so I can't always just choose any pair of sunglasses. I also have noticed that even though I can see the "line" between the top and bottom of the sunglasses where the reader focal is, it is not noticeable from the outside when someone else looks at me. That's a plus.

Good fit, Sturdy sun readers.
I started wearing prescription progressive lens glasses this year and needed sunglasses for driving and outdoor activities like hiking. The Samba Shades bifocal sun reader has a harsh line with no correction above, but I can read the dashboard while driving and the settings on my camera while hiking, which is what I purchased them for. The fit is comfortable. I wear a medium size hat and the bridge width and arm length is very good. Perhaps a little more snug behind the ear than I prefer, but not unpleasantly so. They are $100 less than prescription sunglasses, so the price is reason enough to buy them. I plan on buying another pair.

Love these - looks, size, clarity and size/placement of magnification are nicely balanced
Some bi-flocals have the reading area very small (which is frustrating) but these glasses nailed it just right - the magnification section is larger but it doesn't obstruct or interfere with the field of vision in the top section of the glasses. I use them for driving when I need to navigate with my iPhone. Will likely get another pair.

product broke within 5 minutes.
I ordered bifocal sunglasses which broke within 5 minutes. I attempted to call, text, and Facebook the company (and this included their customer service call service where the number was no longer working) with no response from anyone. I would not recommend these glasses to anyone..
