Pretty, durable, good size

We use these plates for cat dishes. We have several cats that we feed and they work great for this use. The other dishes we used broke. These are the right size for our cats and they clean up quickly.

This is a great set of platters. They are fairly heavy for melanine, and look just like real china. Great for the holidays. I do wish they came in larger sizes, or a set of mixed sizes. But I'm very happy with them. Worth the price.

Anyone one else live with people who like using platters as plates? We had one plastic one, which broke, and melamine one purchased at Target. Only having one platter and two people vying for it was not working. Ta da! Here are some additional platters. They clean up easily and can go in the dishwasher. The only reason for 4 stars is because they are more like large oval plates vs. an actual platter.

I bought these oval plates for our frequent summer lobster dinners. They are a great size, very sturdy and perfect for the use I intended. I think the write up cautioned you not to place them on the bottom shelf of the dishwasher but this was not a problem.

I am so pleased with my purchase and have been using these products all the times. I like that this is very light comparing to ceramics. It is easy to clean and the plate can handle hot foods. Presentation of the food on the table is very pleasing to the eyes of the people eating. I hope these plates will lasts a long time. I have been handwashing the plates.

I'm a clumsy single guy. The apartment I live in has ceramic tile floors throughout. I got tired of chipped bowls and plates. Yes, these can't be used in microwaves. I don't have one with no interest in getting one. This set is really nice, are amazingly sturdy and look very much like china. Can't tell the difference until you pick them up.

These are perfect for my daughter's upcoming baby shower. They are the right size and just what I was looking for. I will be able to use them again as well. They will be perfect for many occasions. I handwashed them. I do have poor vision so I cannot see the symbols that are on the bottom of the platters too well to see if they can be microwaved or placed in the dishwasher, but I have no intention of doing either.
