Works perfect to stop our couch from sliding on the hardwood floors every time we sit down. We actually had a hard time getting the couch back in place after applying them, because it wouldn't scoot at all, you had to lift it and then set it down. Not worried about it scratching the floors at all because it's a soft rubber. Took 2 minutes to apply. Money well spent

They hold a heavy couch in place. They were slightly bigger, so I had to trim them to fit.

UPDATED: So, yeah, they grip very well to the floor but after a few weeks it's clear the adhesive back is just not strong enough or it dries up or something. My sofa stayed in place longer than it ever has but I made the "mistake" of leaning against it rather than just directly sitting down and that was enough lateral force to knock it right off of the pads. Only subtracting one star from my rating because they DO grip really well--I think I'm going to buy them again but try supergluing them on the bottom of the sofa to see if that helps--obviously not a solution for people with more expensive furniture than I have.ORIGINAL REVIEWPretty much all in the title. I honestly had low expectations for the gripping power of these. However, I put them on the legs of a sofa that has been driving me crazy for a year because whenever you sit down or stand up it slides a little--and they made a HUGE difference. It hasn't moved at all for days!The only issue is the adhesive itself--it requires a clean surface but even though I scrubbed the bottom of those legs within an inch of their lives one of them just would not stay on and eventually I had to toss it because all the stickiness was gone. The trick I learned is to put the furniture down FIRST and slide the pads under it rather than flipping it over and attaching them that way. Once I did that and then rested my entire 200+-pound bulk on the sofa the pads stuck and held. But the bottom line is that you may end up getting fewer than 16 in a pack from trial and error, so be prepared and buy 2.

We ordered some bargain furniture and it moved a lot on our hardwoods, but these made a world of difference. Out furniture feels and looks high quality due to these little hidden additions.

My new loveseat/sofa would slide back any time I wanted to sit on the floor and put my back against it. Or just in general if I sat in it a certain way it may move back. It was driving me crazy. So I found these and since I've used Gorilla products before, I was fairly confident, but still, wasn't sure it would work.But it did work! That loveseat isn't budging. I sat on the floor and leaned my weight on it and it didn't budge. I tried moving it by pulling on the back of it - didn't budget, unless I put some pressure to it.I also used these on a chair, and as well I had a wobbly metal table and these took out the wobble, though I did have to cut them down for that. Wish they made smaller sizes!I am so happy with this solution to my problem.Easy to use. Could protect floors as well.To consider:-These may not stay on if you slide them across a rug - they could come off - the glue isn't super duper but I wouldn't want something that adhered too strongly anyway.-If you want to move your furniture, it's going to be more difficult. You'll either have to pick up the furniture, or push/pull it with a little more effort (and the pads may come off but they stick back on), or remove the pads, move the furniture, and then replace the pads.Recommend.

When I opened the GorillaPads Slipstick package and saw these simple-looking round (38mm) rubber furniture grippers, the quality looked to be fine, but I didn’t expect them to do much more than add a bit of resistance to my sofa sliding around on the LVP flooring. Well… I was SO wrong, and terrifically surprised!! They may look “simple”, but these babies grip the floor like MAGIC! My sofa does NOT move at all! I literally had to lift my sofa off the floor in order to set it back in place, after simply pressing these pads onto the bottom of my sofa legs!I’ve had these Slipstick pads on my sofa for about 6 weeks now. Since these are a Gorilla product, the adhesive side doesn’t disappoint, so they stay put just like my sofa; they haven’t drifted off centre of the feet at all, as other pads always seem to do. Also worth mentioning: they haven’t left any markings or residue on the LVP floor at all, either.In these times of paying a whole lot more for a whole lot less, and quality being increasingly hard to find… I just had to write a rave review about Slipstick GorillaPads’ simply superb perfection!

LA utilizamos para un sillón que se deslizaba con mucha facilidad, como es para una persona mayor era importante que se mantuviese estable si se apoya y cumple muy bien su función, no se desliza le ayuda al apoyarse.

Purchased these pads for furniture that kept sliding and was easily moved that we wanted to have more secure. I was very pleasantly surprised with how well these pads work! The furniture legs we have applied them too are now very difficult to move. I cut one square in half to fit the legs of our chair and it still works just as well. A very affordable solution that works exactly as described. Highly recommend!

They were a bit big so I could cut them into the right shape both couch and large ottoman no longer move on the tiled floor
