iFi4.4mm to XLR Balanced Aluminium Alloy Cable (1 metre)

I tried other, less expensive, balanced cables with my ifi Phono Zen, and they all exhibited hum, which increased with gain. I decided to bite the bullet and buy these cables as my last resort; and I am glad I did. The hum that was exhibited in other cables was not present with the ifi balanced cable. There was an improvement in detail and sound stage. Imaging and separation improved as well, when compared to the unbalanced outputs. The bass also improved with nice detailed extension. I think the improvement in sound has to do with the balanced output and not necessarily the cable itself. The cable and connectors have a nice substantial feel, are of good quality and doesn’t exhibit an annoying hum. If you have the ifi phono zen and you can overlook the price of the cable, it’s well worth the purchase

Perfect fit and length to run to two Nelson Pass ACA amps to run them as true balanced monoblocks. Now my office system can spar with my other two dedicated stereo setups. Speakers are Acoustic Technologies Classic (folded horn speakers with a single 3" driver). Cables my be slightly overpriced, but worth it. John Curl designed the analog section in the Zen DAC and it (Zen DAC Signature) is worth the extra money combined with this cable and some truly differential balanced inputs on powered monitors or amps.

Great cables but a $30-$40 cable will perform the same...so why pay more???

I used this cable with my iFi Zen DAC V2 to connect to my preamp which has a balanced XLR input. A balanced connection provides higher noise immunity and overall higher quality analog signal which is critical in high resolution audio. The DAC is capable of 32 bit/384 kHz music. Most of my music is streamed from Tidal which is up to 24 bit/192 kHz. To take advantage of really high resolution audio I think you don't want to scrimp on your cables. This one doesn't - it's a high quality interconnect.

I use it to go from my ifi signature dac v2 into my power amp. Sounds much better and louder than the single-ended rca's. Just buy it!

I ordered this for my iFi Zen Blue V2 but later saw a cable just like it from another brand for much less.

Terrible quality! The box is opened and damaged as shown in the picture! Very bad experience buying this bad product!

This is the way to go, if you have balanced inputs on your pre-amp!!!
