Soap Expressionsby Candlewic, Olive Oil Soap Base (2lb.)

I have used a lot of melt in pours but I really like this one. It holds the smell nice and the mica coloring it’s vibrant. Very easy to use. Takes alittle for bubbles to form but once you use the soap alittle it’s all good.

This is a nice soap base, it took the color and fragrance oil well, and has a nice lather to it

I’m deathly allergic to this soap I just found out when I tried to use this soap. I had a terrible allergic reaction and had to throw the soap out. It took me awhile to figure out it was the olive oil soap. Just the residue of the soap in my soap dish adhered to another bar of Pear’s soap in the soap dish and I got a terrible reaction from that.

As melt and pour soap bases go, this is my favorite! The bricks break off easily with a knife. It melts quickly and evenly. It works well with natural tints like beet powder or spirulina added to it. It's just perfect for my soap making needs!

This was the first time I tried olive oil soap. No foaming. Not particularly moisturizing. Looks like glicerin soaps. Meh, I am underwhelmed. Good enough guest bath soap;

Brought for making shampoo bars but was disappointed when I found that the ingredients had harsh chemicals in this particular base 😫
